Streen was but at one time a simple Tibianna gas prospector on Bespin, where he spent most of his life in solitude away from other miners and working on his own. This humble man, would go on to become one of the most well known Jedi of Luke's Jedi order, proving himself many times whether it be on the battlefield or in aiding others. Streen sported a connection to the force that very few could lay claim to, his empathetic abilities in the force were prodigious where he could hear the voices of many of Bespin's occupants and was forced to drive himself into a solitary lifestyle. His natural connection with the environment was so much that even before his training in the force Streen could sense when gas layers would rise on Bespin.
After his training Streen's abilities in the force continued to grow where he was able to demonstrate a fine control over it able to funnel air into not only his lungs, but the other Praxeum students that were all being choked by the Sith Lord Exar Kun. When it came to strength Streen could create winds powerful enough to buffet and halt the advance of a Leviathan and at one point even produce a shield with it capable of blocking lava. Even while having these abilities and being noted for his strength Streen stayed humble and did not use his abilities unless necessary being a much more scholarly Jedi which at one point had him overlooked when Masters where being chosen among the Jedi.
Eventually rising to mastery Streen went on with a few other Jedi to establish a Jedi Praxeum on Dathomir to aid them after the Vong war, and to teach them in the ways of the force which is when this holocron was created. All of Streen's teachings have been stored in the holocron along with information on Luke's New Jedi Order to pass on the teachings of the Jedi to the coming generations. For Centuries the holocron lay undisturbed in the forgotten Jedi Praxeum out of not only respect for Streen but due to very little information being left on it. It wasn't till Joza journeyed to the planet Dathomir to search for the old Praxeum that it was rediscovered under the protection of an Insane Nightsister. Defeating the witch, Joza would go on to claim the holocron for her own.
