Stranger Danger

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist

The world was crazy at times as she was moving now, they had been working on things around the galaxy and building up some of the better things as after that property on Cloud Nine she could work with some of the things. The Hyjarna stone had given her some ideas and she was coming here to set up a quarry to mine and get it for themselves within Shinra and Sasori. Well it was more of a material for Shatory as it helped counter a number of things.

That was why when she had given chance to meet more people she was happy to work on things and invite others to join her. Offering work with credits they could do for some of the larger things. All of the work they could build up as she walked in the bodygloves with her boots and the channeling gloves that served quite nicely before moving along the surface in the speeder. The main city was a place to go for the deal as well as to serve to hire people to work the quarry. Who knew who could be there.

One week and...seven days. Two weeks. That was the time that had passed since the day she had landed on this planet's surface. She had been staying at a very modest apartment in one of the uglier parts of the main city. It had a bed and the price was cheap, that was all she needed right now. Truth was she could have stayed on her ship, she did have a fairly comfortable cot there that had served her well many sleepless nights but she had found herself in the need of a change of air. She couldn't stand the solitude of the ship any longer.

Here she could at least listen to the unfriendly neighbors bicker and fight and then resolve their problems to simply start fighting again over something else in a never ending circle they called routine. It at least gave her something to entertain herself in the meantime as she searched for a job. She needed to do something.

Ever since she had left Mahan her life had been like this. Going from planet to planet, taking up any job she could do in exchange of credits to then trick herself into believing she had the company of some random neighbors who didn't even know there was a certain Mahanaim listening into their conversations. It sounded sad but she was okay with it. It would have been much better if her brother had been with her...But that was no longer possible and she wouldn't bother herself with phantoms of the past....or that she wanted to do.

Right now she was wondering the streets of the city, reading pamphlets and handouts trying to find a job worth doing.

Matsu arrived on the speeder as she had a grin on her face while she stopped at the port putting the speeder into a section before she set some of the things. Grabbing her equipment pack as she slid the strap over her shoulder walking into the city. She liked a great deal of the things there before moving with most of her attention on the people there, the buildings were fashioned from hyjarna deposits on the world and it strengthened it the foundtation and walls of the buildings. She was noticing a few things all around before seeing someone that looked strange compared to the rest and thought of it more helping the one vendor droids to sell to the people and get them what they needed. The holograms going up to offer the people.

She stopped mid step when a hologram came up to a rather old lady in front of her and offered her some artifacts that did indeed look curious. The woman politely declined and continue with her slow walk. Zikariss had always had deep respect for the elders, of whichever race. She had been taught to be very, very respectful of her elders back in Mahan and apparently the habit had stuck and now applied to any old age being.

The holocron kept offering different people and, with curiosity, Zikariss looked at it. Soon enough her keen eyes caught sight of a woman selling the same artifacts the holocron had offered with the help of a vendor droid. She made her way to them and spent some minutes curiously analyzing the different artifacts but without saying much. Suddenly, she could hear some kids, apparently siblings, far away in the distance, play-fighting each other as they made silly threats and rolled on the ground. Her eyes were still looking at the artifacts. She smiled and her two slightly protruding and sharp canines were perfectly visible, the kids had reminded her of her brother. A man next to her looked at her strangely, not only because of her peculiar teeth but because of her sudden and apparently unfounded smile. Apparently the kids were too far away for anyone else there to hear.

Matsu continued to stay there with them, Sasori had many great products and over everything offered well she could also use this time to get to know the people on the planet and plan accordingly how best to approach and work with them. She liked to make the building and employment opportunities fit the people of the world over forcing them to just do as she wanted like other companies did. Call it her jedi nature to be part of the galaxy while she was showing off some of the other products and hearing the children playing in the distance. That got her attention as did some of the others while the droids took over showing everything off to the people. She was working with getting contracts and such but meeting the people helped. "Excuse me, you are not a local here. Have you been here long?"
