PERSENUS
Qoritottoi..... Ashaottoi....
He had been on stealth missions before. Perenus was trained in the arts of subterfuge under the training of his Master, whom had sent him on these missions on the guise of teaching him patience, but watching him squirm to keep his impatience in check. In the end, it did nothing to quell his lack of tolerance but did teach him the value of watching and listening attentively, though not for long. It was his experience on the run that taught him the value of knowing when to stay out of a fight. Each person he killed, each one that went missing when reports of him came about, more and more bounty hunters and assassins came. He was under heavy surveillance; constant watch for his crimes. Now, all each living moment has him watching and listening over his shoulder and beyond walls just to survive.
Still, hiding in the engine room of a smuggler's freighter was less than ideal. He would've hidden in storage like he always had but they had put motion sensors there to make sure nothing is about nabbing their goods. He was underneath the faulty exhaust chambers, unfortunately. It wasn't rare for the near lethal smoke to blast out of a loose part, covering him in head to toe with toxic gas that would've killed a normal man without medical care. However, he was no normal man. As a master of the Force, he could resist the affects of poison with vast efficiency and most of all, he could use Force Breath to minimize his breathing. He could spend hours here and still be as healthy as he came in. Of course, he would rather he wouldn't be staying for as long as he could.
"What is that damned noise?" The Sanyassan Engineer barged into the engine room, having been sent to inspect the ruckus the exhaust was causing. With his appearance, Perenus held himself as still as possible. He watched him fiddle around with the controls of the engine room, running a diagnosis of the systems. Another fume of smoke would engulf Perenus, causing him to flinch. The Sanyassan would look down through the metal floor but did not detect Perenus in the smoke. The only thing he saw was a faulty exhaust. Perenus, however, was starting to feel more than annoyed at the constant blasts of ship-waste. In spite of his great pain tolerance, the constant, lingering burns it caused upon him were riling up.... unsavory desires in him.
"A clog, huh? The engineer realized the problem. He began a scanning of the inner exhaust pipes, discovering the build up of whatever they had accumulated in their travels in one of the major pipes. He began transferring pressure in that pipe, allowing the exhaust to break down the wall on its own as it seemed to be fragile enough that it could not contain high pressure exhaust which is why it couldn't completely clog. "Work, damn you." He said as he kicked the manual controls. The pressure blew the clog up and out of the ship but, unfortunately for Perenus and by extension, the engineer, the exhaust and all its heat had been subjected onto Perenus in one final act of defiance.
"ENOUGH!" Perenus exclaimed as his saber staff extended, lighting up and punching through the metal floor, impaling the Sanyassan. Before he could begin wailing in pain, Perenus pulled him down into the exhaust pit and finished him off silently. He was now safe from the exhaust but at what cost? Now the rest of the crew will be wondering where this tall, lumbering Sanyassan could have gone to!
"Chaos take me...."
