Description:
The Storm Claws were made by ArmaTech Combat Systems and Alchemized personal by Draco Vereen. The Alchemy done to the Terenthium is simplistic, simply granting the items Lightsaber resistance and the ability to absorb Force Lightning and release violently it upon contact. This is the primary defensive ability imparted to the four claws.

The claws are technically three fingered with thumbs on either side, but they connect at the elbow, wrist, and hand, allowing them to act as a pair of six fingered hands if needed. The digits are three sectioned, including the opposable thumbs, with plating covering and protecting the back of the hand. The wrist can roll, rotate, or spin as needed, allowing a much greater range of motion than a human head.

Built into the forearms of each Claw there is a large capacitor which contains electrical energy either absorbed from Agamemnon's Molecular shields or fed from Agamemnon’s primary power source. When fully charged the energy is directed through a series of electrical emitters allowing Agamemnon to replicate the visual and physical effects of Force Lightning, a truly terrifying concept, and very useful in combat. If the capacitors were unable to be discharged and were overloaded it would result in a fairly violent explosion similar in effect to an electro Grenade. The emitters act as a conduit merely to direct the electrical storm away from the droid, but the electrical outburst is sporadic and unpredictable, arcing randomly over the relatively short range of about ten meters.

Each Storm Claw has a pair of Modular weapon slots for wrist weapons. These can be easily exchanged in between battles and allow Agamemnon to better prepare for his intended targets given the added modularity of his Droid body.

Nicely written sub, and a cool idea all around.
Got a few questions still, though:

  • This per gauntlet/hand/claw, correct?
IF so, then I'd say an increase in weight is appropriate. It's all-metal, and alchemized as well, which makes things even heavier. 4-5 per gauntlet/hand/claw, methinks.
  1. Could the capacitors get overloaded by a particularly strong source of lightning, and if yes, to what end?

Tag me with questions and/or edits. :)

The capacitors are for normal electricity, which they certainly could, to explosive effect. Absorbing and releasing Force Lightning on contact is an alchemy thing and, while my knowledge isn't the best there, I don't know of any limitations as to the amount, only that the gauntlet/claw itself would need to be struck to absorb it.

If the capacitors were unable to be discharged and were overloaded it would result in a fairly violent explosion similar in effect to an electro Grenade.

Alright, works. Thank you for your cooperation. :)

Some standard alchemy mixed with tech, nothing too major here.
Approved pending secondary.
