STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Strengths:
- Driven - Steven is haunted by the flight from his home, and the loss of his parents in a situation that he should have been able to fight in. Steven is determined to never have to face that again, and will do nearly anything to ensure he’s stronger than ever before. Wants revenge on the Sith responsible for destorying his life.
- Military Strategist - Working in a mercenary company at a young age taught Steven a great deal of warfare, and took a leading role in small scale warfare, where he excelled.
- Fierce and unpredictable - Utilising Juyo and Djem Sho, Steven’s offensive assaults are blistering, aggressive, and frankly dangerous. Steven has practised these from a young age with his father, who was an expert in Juyo, and swiftly combines and utilises both forms into his own unique style of combat.
- Stealthy - Trained from an early age to blend into shadows and hide his presence. Steven excels at infiltration and working from the shadows, and has practised making himself invisible through force cloak and force stealth from a young age.
Weaknesses:
Fiery - Steven is short tempered and aggressive. He angers quickly and can be antagonistic because of it.
Technologically inferior - His brother Sam was always the one more interested in technology, from constructing their lightsabers, to working on ships engineering, weapon systems, and computer systems, Sam deals with all of these. Steven would be lost without Sam.
- Loner - Steven isn’t a diplomat. He is gruff, blunt, and forceful. He doesn’t mince words, he doesn’t try to flatter people, and because of that he tends to stick to himself and his few close friends and colleagues. Steven would prefer to drink by himself than spend time with others outside of military requirements.

Steven is tall and well built, the more muscled and thicker of the twins. Typically wearing darkened combat armour, and has a black cloak that goes down to his knees, covers his arms, and has a hood on his head too.
BIOGRAPHY:
Steven was born one of a pair of twins, to Kyro and and Jess Kavarr on the planet Molavar. During their youth their the twins, Steven and Sam, were raised by Kyro, and old Jedi Watchman in the basics of the force, and would run daily activities through the forests that surrounded their small cottage, from hunting, cooking, combat training and meditation. Steven was the better twin in physical activites, while Sam had the quicker mind, and could achieve near perfect meditation at a young age, even with Steven’s constant distractions during the more boring meditation moments.
At age 12, Kyro showed the twins the ancient Jedi temple hidden deep in the valley to the east. Ancient wards bound and protected the temple, and Kyro made the twins memorise the route through to the center, where an ancient holocron remained, floating in the center of an obsidian room. This was what Kyro protected, and this is what they would now protect. This was a solemn vow in the obsidian room that the boys made that day.
The twins finally realised the true weight of it all when Kyro left for work for 3 months when they were 14. They continued training as taught, but it wasn’t the same as learning from their father, a venerable master. His return was quiet, late at night with the twins doing their evening rituals of meditation, when they finally sensed Kyro. Limping into the house, his entire right arm heavily bandaged, and his face with a score of cuts and burns, it didn’t take a genius to know that something had gone down, and bad. No questions were answered that night. The next morning training began again, more vigorous than ever.
A year later and the need was apparent. The drone of engines broke through the wooded valley, and Kyro was shaking the twins awake, his face darkening with fury as the cacophony of sounds broken through the house. His words were simple, grab the holocron and flee. Scrambling for things, the family watched as Kyro strode the 50 meters to the edge of the property while 5 dark shadows slowly approached. The lightsaber slipped out and Kyro entered a stance the boys had never seen before, a stance screaming aggression and power, and with that he struck, and one mass of shadows collapsed from the vicious blow. The fight lit up quickly with 3 purple lightsabers and a red lightsaber joined the clashing, and they the twins and Jess were running to the temple.
One of the assailants split off, and attacked them at the temple, and it was only Jess collapsing half the temple around herself and the Sith that allowed the twins to escape. Screams and sabers still clashed in the background as the twins fled, but there was nothing the twins could do.
Fled through the night while the sounds of thunder, screams and saber clashes drifted off in the distance, the boys got to the small trader port, and bartered passage to Nal Hutta. On old friend of their fathers called Grallik who lived in Hutt Space. A handful of credits, a DL-17 blaster pistol on Sam, a Vibrosword on Steven, and the single holocron buried deep in the rucksack they alternated, hidden under clothes. They handled the assumed loss of their father, and the guaranteed loss of their mother in different ways. Sam the calmer and softer of the two had tears falling as he cried himself through the travels, while Steven shed but a few tears, and his coping mechanism turned to promises of revenge, anger, slaughter, and bitterness.
From Manda to Bothuwui the twins worked as loaders for a trader ship as they travelled to Nal Hutta, whereby they spent several months searching for someone named Grallik. Eventually they found a scarred and greying Besalisk running a weapons shop, the old aquaintance of their father. They told him everything, and he took them in without a doubt, citing some long standing favour he owed Kyro. They never learnt what it was, but Grallik treated them like family because of it.
Grallik taught the kids a lot over the 4 years they worked under Grallik in his mercenary company, both of them getting their firstt kills as they learnt the trade of warfare. While Steven took to the leading of troops into combat situations, and overseeing escorts and assaulting small settlements, Sam took to fiddling with technology, weapons and armour. The escort duty of a Hutt lord and protecting a trade ship to Toydori for Boru the Surly. An escort to Rilleb where they got caught in a crossfire by 2 other companies of warmongers. On Saki for a gruelling 6 months campaign to capture a particularly attractive piece of desert, and the final assault on a well garissioned defensive stronghold.
Finally leaving Grallik with a mercenary company much larger and more profitable than it had been, a sizeable payoff for the twins for their work in leading the growth of his company. They joined Loriq Tovar on his frieghter where Sam learnt all about the inner workings of the ship, piloting it and the mechanics behind it. Steven spent time practising his stealth abilities of moving around the ship, and on the few ship guns that were available. They travelled for 2 years with Loriq learning a few tricks of the trade to help, and influenced a few barters with a push of their influence, and a few times with the unsheathing of weaponry as they defended the ship from pirates. They almost lost the ship when they came out near Falleen, and only Steven leading a vicious fight back to the cockpit, and Sam overriding magnetic grips on the ship, let them get away with their cargo intact.
After leaving Loriq, 8 months were spent on Vendaxa, as Sam joined and studied with a group of scientists on the planet with a vicious eco-system. Once more, of no interest to Steven, he continued to train his stealth abilities, strength and agility, and the fluidity of him combat sequences, which he put to test against the aggressive Acklay’s of Vendaxa to protect the scientists.
At 23, the twins sat down to discuss their future and what they wanted to do. Following in their fathers foot-steps was the obviously choice, as they could no longer go through the motions of being mercenaries, or escort guards, or even trade hands. No, it was time to find their destiny and officially become Jedi’s. Vari Lir in a small YT-2000 frieghter was the old wizened Togruta to take them to Sullust to join up. They weren’t born in the Galactic Alliance worlds, and they didn’t know if they’d be accepted or even able to join the New Jedi Order, but they had to try.
