Sterdo LLC is an advocacy group that seeks to propose new legislation or amend existing legislation, on behalf of clients and special interest groups. Their primary focus is outside of the CIS itself, with a keen eye set on the inner workings of the Galactic Alliance and their engorged political machine. Sterdo LLC is also set about owning industrial and commercial ventures across the galaxy, diversifying its portfolio to maximise profits. A large staff of legal minds, administrators and executives allow for the corporation to successfully manage and coordinate multiple campaigns across an election cycle, often clandestinely working at odds with their own operations if it maximises financial reward. It is entirely owned by Hester Shedo. It is alleged it has far-reaching arms into various criminal syndicates but purports to have no such dealings with criminal gangs, crimelords nor bounty hunters. It also boasts the beginnings of its own Media empire, looking to purchase and invest in various outlets for its own editorial content.
With the dissolution of the Confederacy, Sterdo has branched out into construction and manufacturing, the latest in the portfolio being the shipyards in Jaemus. Under the patronage of House Renoux, Hester Shedo intends to build commercial and military units for the militia.
RATIONALE
After spending over a decade in public service, Scarif-born Hester Shedo has turned her considerable experience to the art of full-time lobbying and campaign management. Winning multiple terms as Viceroy of Scarif (within the CIS), Hester served under two Vicelords within the cabinet of the Presidium, some of the highest offices that can be attained within the Legislative and Executive branches of the vast Confederacy. Adept at persuasion and the art of diplomacy, as former Minister of Influence for the Confederacy, Hester utilises this skill set in ensuring the very best outcome for her clients, whether that be private citizens, or supranational corporations or sovereign governments. Having overseen vast construction projects, Hester is also suited to overseeing the complex and complicated arm of distribution, construction and research.
