Stepping Into The Sacred Circle [Open to 1]

The forest world of Monastery was old and proud and, miraculously, untouched for the largest part. Always solitary and unique from the rest of the known galaxy, the sacred world emanated a very individual energy from its core, doubtless influenced by its long-term residents which it, in turn, had influenced over many millennia. The land was a dense and heavy green and sounds of creatures great and small echoed across the ancient landscape. Overhead could be heard the frequent creaks and groans of the exotic trees that towered far above and almost out of sight, where definition becomes redundant and a blur of greens and browns could only be seen. There was a scent on the thick, humid air of sweet sap, wild beast and a plethora of mysterious aromas and tones. Frequently, amidst the sea of green, one could witness the ruins of ancient buildings long abandoned by the planet's inhabitants in search of something new, or perhaps forgotten from an even older civilisation.

Quietly, carefully, the small figure of an unusual creature stepped along a roughly made path designed perhaps a considerable time ago for humanoids and other such sentients, his roughspun grey-green robes lightly jangling with beads, coins and other such charms. Amongst such charms hung a small, old shoto lightsaber, kept in as good a condition as possible considering its advanced age and its owner's limited access to resources. With one hand, the creature tugged and pushed at vines and bushes as they sought to intrude the his person, while his other held a hand-carved staff that stood at three feet in height, threatening to overtake its owner's own stature. Hidden beneath a hood, a grim, silent and brooding face watched the footing of his bare feet, frequently flickering up to witness the rest of his surroundings in its vibrant glory.

Something stirred amongst this land, and something called out to him. His journey had taken him to many exotic worlds, but none as compelling and curious and striking as this one. It groaned with an untold history, reaching its tendrils out to him, seeking to wrap themselves around him and drag him into its core.
"The Sacred Circle..." he allowed to slip out of his mouth from his deep contemplative trance, mouthing the words half-silently under his breath. The name had been on his mind for some time. The secretive, silent order of monks who had only an iota of interplanetary history that most remember, while the rest of its timeline had fallen into obscurity. But they must surely still be here... he had frequently thought, and thus he strode across the dense landscape of Monastery's rainforests in search of such a fabled society. Perhaps they could bring further elucidation for his own path. Perhaps.
