Steam

I just uploaded Steam onto my old laptop so that I can play Redwall and find myself :)

If any of you are on steam too, (like [member="Jairdain"] !) please add me as a friend! I'm on there as Kay_Larr

Awesome. I'm defragging the laptop right now, as the game kept crashing after loading the first act. I'm hoping that my old laptop can handle it. Everything on it is updated.

What operating system do you have? XP I think you said earlier? Do you have a search on the bottom left hand corner? Just type in "System Information" and it'll pull up. If you take a screenshot of that, we can take a look. :D

I don't see your invites on my steam. So I'll have to search for you both myself.

There are too many Andromeda's...over 3,000!

Windows 7 Home Premium...
Intel Pentium P6200 2.13ghz
4 gb RAM
64 bit operating system

You added me, [member="Lady Kay"]! :D

Hrm, I think it should still work. It's not a gaming laptop but it should do the job based on the minimum specs for Redwall. The PassMark score is 1349 the P600, which is a bit over the 1,000 they recommend. Could be that the graphics card is just too old for it.

[member="Caedyn Arenais"] thoughts?

I lowered the resolution and fps for the game. Still waiting for it to get past the first loading screen after choosing a new game...

Rebooted my laptop as it sorta froze. Now waiting for steam to finish updating...Such a silly thing. It had already updated right after installing it.

Nope. It quits responding at the same spot all the time. My hubby's laptop is newer. He said I could try his.

I know that I'm in the game! I want to see and hear myself...lol

It could be an issue with your RAM or your Graphics Card.

The specs for "A Lost Legend of Redwall: The Scout" can be found on the Store page as shown below. I'm not personally familiar what-so-ever with the Title however so couldn't comment on how the Game runs.

Do you have any idea what your GPU is? (Graphics Card).

Right Click the Desktop and see if there's a "Display Settings" option.

I'm using Windows 10 so it's going to be a little different for me but if you can find that and then go to Advanced Display Settings, it should tell you.

Otherwise, just google "Finding GPU on Windows 7".
