Staves and Swords (Christian Slade)

Dalansa

Little Miss Psychopath
Dalansa Sat in the Red Dragon, watching what remained of the night slowly slip away. She had been quiet, sat and thought, reflecting back. Her silence had drawn little attention. But now, she knew, she would be called upon. [member="Christian Slade"] had said that he would reach her something today. So she headed to the VIP area. She didn't know what, but she was prepared. Her weapons were with her, and she kept her eyes up. She would show him what he wanted to see. At least, so she thought.

"I don't know why you're waiting in the VIP lobby.", a deep and to [member="Dalansa"], familiar voice sounded out over her comm. "You've had clearance to my office since the day you became my apprentice. Now get up here.", he said firmly, realizing that the training of his apprentices came first, but he always had business to attend to on Zeltros, and now that he'd expanded to Coruscant he had much to do there as well.

Corellia was that planet he'd set his sights on next, but that would have to wait. His apprentices still had much to learn.

Nodding and frowning at [member="Christian Slade"]'s remark, the Offshoot obeyed. Stepping into the turbolift, she spent the long ride up straightening the zhaboka on her back. It was awkward in a way, but also a comfort. The leather handle finally resting perfectly on the back of her neck, and her hair once again spilling over it, the turbolift reached it's destination. Stepping out and nodding, she acknowledged him. "Master."

Christian glanced up from some paperwork laid out across his desk with those golden eyes glowing as they usually did. He took in the site of the fit young woman he knew as [member="Dalansa"], his apprentice who had been progressing well since he'd agreed to take her as his apprentice. Rising from his chair, Christian circled around his desk and strode across the room with long, but calculated steps. Nodding at Dalansa, Christian stopped in front of her and looked down on the considerably shorter woman, though he knew better than any it was the small, quick women that were the most deadly in most situations.

"What would you have me teach you?", he asked, taking an uncharacteristic approach in the way he trained his apprentices in asking her what directions he wished to take.

Dalansa seemed taken aback by the question, surprised by the fact that he was asking. She hadn't seen that coming. But at least she knew what she wanted to learn. "Lightsaber Combat." Was her reply, after what seemed to be a bit of a delay. She wanted to know how best to defeat an opponent. How best to cut them apart. She wanted to know how to fight.

"Alright then.", Christian said simply, stepping past the woman and motioning for [member="Dalansa"] to follow him. As he did he pulled his coat from over his shoulders and reached out, tossing it down on a coach that he passed on the way to his turbo lift. When he reached it, he stepped in side, waiting for her to follow, and once she did the doors closed. He directed the lift a few stories down from his office, this time going in the opposite direction of the roof on which they had trained on her first day.

When the doors opened on the lift, they stepped out into a massive, wide open space, nothing but clean metal floors and four white walls on all side, the only floor of his Casino tower that had no windows, and it was for that purpose of training exactly. Each end of the open room, the ceiling and the floor were sealed in by a thick durasteel layer, a few vents lining the walls and pouring in cool air. Hanging from the white walls were countless weapons. Knives, swords, staves, throwing weapons, spears, pikes, double ended blades, mallets, hammers, axes, shivs and a countless many more close combat weapons.

"Pick your poison, or employ your own weapons.", Christian said, turning and walking backwards across the room, reaching up and peeling his shirt up over his head revealing a massive, broad chest and sculpted muscles across his chest and stomach. His biceps, in particular, were massive from the tedious physical punishment he'd been putting himself through over the years as he had become obsessed with honing his body to be in pique physical condition so that Mastering the force could come as easily and naturally as possible.

"Once you've settled on a weapon, kill me."

Reaching onto her belt and grabbing her saber, she thumbed one blade active. Holding it as she would her sword, the blade diagonally across her chest, she nodded to [member="Christian Slade"]. She stepped forward, drawing closer with every step, letting her hatred grow inside. The long kept rage boiled over, and she knew what would come next. Her muscles felt like fire burned through them, a raging torrent that blazed through her and extended into the saber in her hand. As she closed the gap, she swung, slashing down at Slade's shoulder.
