You can consider their forces pieced together from many different sources and patchwork in nature. Some of their ships are modernized, and many are aging or falling apart.
Their infantry is largely made up of clones from previous eras, mixed in with tribes taken from pre-industrial worlds, fanatical zealots, Echani Loyalists, and twisted experiments.
