Description: SSG/FL STA Utility Gun was designed for utility. Firing a multitude of different 40 x 46 mm shell types in a single shot action. The main detriment to the weapon is its reload speed and ammunition capacity. It is a break action reload weapon, so after every shot the weapon must be opened, the used shell expended, a new shell inserted, closed, and the firing hammer reset. This is mitigated though since it is the function of the weapon, and the user will use it accordingly.
The main benefit of the launcher is allowing the soldier or officer to lob a grenade far greater distances than they could hope to throw themselves, up to 175m. And a flare up to 500 meters in an extremely high arc. It is also a very light weapon, the offset being and depending on how much ammunition is carried along with it.
The gun can also be used by law enforcement for tactical and crowd control purposes.
