It began with the guidance of a Neti, one afternoon after lab, a deep discussion that wandered from theory to opening an acolyte's mind to botanical wonders, and from there, to possibility. What started as an academic curiosity took root in the greenhouses and back corridors of the Kor'ethyr Academy, creeping into its halls like ivy through brick and mortar. At first, it was nothing more than a side hustle, between a professor and student, a shared experiment behind closed doors. Under the political tides and Kainate doctrine that prohibit such contraband, it flourished in the shadows. Word spread in whispers and soon threaded itself into the Academy's three Houses. Demand grew. With few willing, or able, to risk produce anything of similar quality under Korriban's watch, they faced almost no competition. What began as a private arrangement matured into a joint dominion, its influence stretching well beyond the Academy's walls. When the time came, in the wake of an Imperial invasion that served only as fertilizer for its growth, the operation shifted naturally to Brosi, where it could thrive in the open.
Adaptability remains their greatest strength. The company can meet the needs of a smuggler seeking a discreet shipment as readily as it fulfills a contract for a planetary health ministry. This flexibility has allowed Spore Industries to expand its network without aligning itself to any single faction or ideology. Every transaction is approached as both a business opportunity and a chance to deepen relationships. The company maintains a presence in both regulated and unregulated markets. By doing so, it has become a bridge between worlds.
Rooted where legality meets underground trade, they spread like a mycelial network, linking unlikely worlds.
