Spoils of Murder

The ancient rusty hull of the GR-75 medium transport dropped out of hyperspace at the designated location, deep space between systems in the fringe and CIS border. Why did Odium choose here? Because it was no where near the One Sith back yard. The Ship hung in the darkness with only the light of distant stars visible in the distance and a hold full of Stygium. Why did he have the little rocks? The goddess of his Master, Isolda, had provided them for his work on Contruum, or he may have stolen them who knows. Odium sat back in the pilot's chair and turned to the Gand Findsman in the co-pilots chair.

<His ship will not show up on scanners.> Odiumm said telepathically, <Open communications and wait for him to respond.>

Odium went to the back of the cockpit and found his satchel while the necklace containing Rasho the Hutt and the spirit of the young Jedi hung from his neck. His black eyes were unblinking as he found the droid vocabulator attachment he had for his data pad that allowed him to turn text into spoken words. He went back and sat at the communications suit and sat down in range of the holotransceiver to wait for Ovmar to appear.

It wasn’t long before Odium and his ship got a response, almost as if his partner in crime had already been there from the start. A mystery that wasn’t really that interesting, so we will just have to ignore it for now. Just as Odium had said, the ship never actually appeared on the scanners, courtesy of a lot of money spent and a lot of research done. At any rate, the response was pretty short and pretty straight-forward.

<<Good meeting you, Odium. Hope you are in good… spirits? How do you want to do the trade?>>

The stygium would come in handy in a variety of ways, ways which weren’t really that important to describe in here. But let’s just say it’s gonna be a doozy, once production properly starts. Odium really had a lot of choice here, depending on what he wanted for the stygium, cash, favors whatever. Ovmar didn’t really care either way, as long as the crystals were his.

Odium sat and smiled at the Man's words. He was really one of the few people Odium liked, for what ever that was worth. Odium began typing on his datapad and hit the enter button to make the droid vocabulator speak.

"Lord Ovmar." The mechanical droid voice said, "I can dock and unload the rocks onto your ship. In exchange for the use of one of your shipyards for repairs to my ship. If you have any information on the person who escaped my auction without paying I would like that also. Are we agreeed?"

Odium sat back and waited for the response.
