50% of this prize will go to someone who has a position of responsibility...

Examples:​

• Commander of a capital ship, fleet, or military unit
• Governor or senator
• Force Master, Council member, enclave leader (bonus available for Jedi, see below)

...and who defects from one major faction to another major faction.

The other 50% will go to a licensed Bounty Hunter who assists them in defecting. The licensed Bounty Hunter needs to claim the prize and will be responsible for splitting it (or double-crossing the defector as necessary).
