Intent: A suit of armor designed to maximize the utility of Spencer's core skillset.
Development Thread: No. This armor is a reforging of existing ultrachrome factory submissions, a re-use of the same metal.
Manufacturer: Iron Crown Armories
Model: N/A
Affiliation: Independent
Modularity: No
Production: Unique
Material: Ultrachrome, gadolinium-based lining
Description:
When Ashin Varanin brought the Star Destroyer Chimaera to the Fringe Confederation, the Sith Empire's former flagship contained examples of various advanced technologies. One of them was a full complement of standard X-1 stormtrooper armor, including the Inquisitor/Intelligence model, which was made of solid ultrachrome. These suits were held in reserve (thread Crashed) until needed.

Four full suits' worth of metal was purified, re-forged, and worked into a suit of pure ultrachrome. Spencer Jacobs, a leading expert on tutaminis (energy manipulation), has long been capable of withstanding blasterfire or lightsabre blows, and has generally not used armor. This armor is not designed to keep her insulated from those varieties of strikes. In fact, the specialized padding is minimal and superconductive itself, resting against her skin. The armor offers no insulation whatsoever. An unwary Spencer or another wearer would be cooked alive by redistributed heat rather than perforated or impaled.

When applying tutaminis to incoming strikes, Spencer must switch or split her focus based on the part of her body where the strike would hit. While she is fully capable of doing this, her efficiency improves when wearing the armor. This armor offers Spencer one major advantage, and only one: Every energy-based strike, regardless of its magnitude or direction of attack, applies to her entire body at once. In other words, when wearing the armor, she does not need to shift or split her focus from incoming strike to incoming strike, from direction to direction. As a result, she increases her average reaction time and overall capacity for defensive tutaminis.

The armor is not especially durable against slugthrowers, blunt trauma, and so forth. As it is fully conductive to energy, and not insulated at all, significant combat use will cook alive any wearer who is not a fully aware Master-level expert in tutaminis, leading to the wearer being encased in molten metal, as an ultrachrome suit will all melt at once past a certain point.

Classification: Anti-energy
Weight: 6kg
Quality: Class 4 against physical weapons, Class 0 against energy weapons (deathtrap, as noted above, unless worn by an expert in tutaminis). If worn by a fully conscious, non-distracted, non-exhausted, highly skilled expert in tutaminis, Class 9 against energy weapons.
Other Feature(s): Fully superconductive

I was going to post something about how that's not how superconductivity works, in terms of melting, but Wookie states the something about ultrachrome, so, SW>RL. :)

Only issue I see is the quality rating. Can you clarify the energy quality? What is 0*?

Please tag me in your reply. Thanks!

[member="Asemir Lor'kora"] - That was just how I was expressing the last half of the description - wear it, get cooked alive, unless you're a Master-level tutaminis expert. Small clarifying edit done.
