Speed Training, Mach 1

1172_waterygrave2.jpg
Iziz had been spending some time with students recently, amongst himself taking part in battles and assassinations, he found it important to give back to the sith in a way he knew that most masters would not. Though doing so, with a level of care, although he could tell it was appreciated by the Sith, the students under him enjoying his class-rooms and a reprieve from the cruelty of the Sith and the Assassins as a whole, the Jawa could immediately tell that it was giving him a reputation..

Words like 'weak' and 'foolish' began cycling around conversation when talking about Iziz within the ranks of the Acolytes...

To be honest, the Jawa did not mind in the slightest, some time ago he would have been angered and even furious that others were looking down on him and demeaning him, and, in many senses, he was still irked by the ignorance of the students when he was attempting to help them. But, their anger and hatred was a symptom of the disease and not a cause. The ways of the Sith were shrouded in hate and loathing for one another, nothing but fear, passion and paranoia coiled around each and every one of them like a three headed serpant ready to strike them down.

And iziz had, had enough of it.

Though it seemed after one of his classes in the Acolyte academy, he received word from his own master that he was to tutor another Sith to be... Iziz had no quarrel with the action, though he could only assume a student from Ferus would be another blood starved cliche, thirsting for blood and vengeance... The students name seemed to be [member="Pheroth Lisenthrîl"] a name Iziz would likely have trouble pronouncing in full, though, he would have to get used to it if he wanted to please the shadow of the dark lord.

The Young Jawa swore under his own breath,

Wondering if there were any Sith in the order who actually had living parents... who weren't sith at least.

Pheroth walked into the academy with a smile on his face. The smile didn't really mean he was happy. In fact, if you actually looked at his face, you saw the smile was a dark, sinister smile. But he smiled nonetheless. Ferus had sent him to this trainer to learn yet another ability: Force Speed. At the same time he was expected to train his reflexes, which made sense so that he wouldn't run into walls. This trainer though, was not an ordinary one. He was a Jawa. An unexpected teacher, but a welcome one either way. In fact, Pheroth thought it would be quite fun.

"Iziz Vei," Pheroth announced with a loud voice and a wide smile. He bowed regally, more for fun than anything else. He was happy to be here, learning more. But there was always dark fun to be had. "Ferus has spoken highly of you. Today I suppose we're are to be learning how to run," the sarcasm was obvious but quite playful. "The good news is I have most basic sense of Force skills and this should go by smoothly. But oh let us have fun with it! One of us could easily die by running into a while. I think that is most exciting." Pheroth chuckled at his own joke. "I am Pheroth Lisenthrîl," he said, rolling his tongue expertly over the 'r'. "Pleased to meet you."

Iziz stood upon a desk looking at his student, from the cruel smile draped across his chin immediately he knew the kind of sith he was dealing with, one of the rabble, no doubt an aspiring student who would take a shine to the force quickly, Iziz had been teaching a while and had seen the results of he dark side and the overconfidence that it spawned. The philosophies of the sith were excellent for gaining power quickly, but controlling that power was something entirely different. The Jedi would believe that control was something they sought, that it was a quality sought primarily by their tennants, and that was true in many cases... though the difference between the Jedi and the Sith were that the tennants of the Jedi were also made to 'control' their populous...

A devastating sin...

"It's a pleasure to meet you too... ... ..."

Iziz paused as he attempted to visualize himself saying his name, though the effort only ended in abject failure.

"Forgive me... I have taken to basic recently, and am unable to pronounce delicate or complicated words such as your name. I hope you would not consider me rude for not using it... None the less, to business, fun is something that I would revel in were I in one of my other classes, but you reek of the dark side already. Forgive me for saying, but from you I sense a cool, collected, confident yet casual breed of sociopath whom I refuse to train until you prove yourself worthwhile... I don't care if Ferus sent you. "

Iziz rose his hand, and with a wave the doors closed, the golden bio-luminescent eyes of the jawa sharpened and bore down on the pupil like daggers staring through him, his own power in the force coursed through his veins like rivers straining at the flood gates just waiting to attack, potent enough that merely the ambient act of him calling upon the force would feel like a thick, palpable tension in the room.

"So, I'll ask you a question before I agree to train you... I want you to properly understand this order before you think to gain false stength and a sense of granduer...

In one word, describe what you intend to gain from the sith... you may explain the word after, but, none the less, you have but one."

Simply put, the Jawa was not looking for a simple answer, and from the telekinetic tension which seemed to be hanging ambiantly as a silent threat.

His student had better give it thought.

[member="Pheroth Lisenthrîl"]

"Enlightenment." Pheroth's response was immediate. He himself had asked this question before of himself. At this point his smile dropped. The face that he now displayed was his true emotion. "You only saw a façade that I put on as a role that I play for myself. The galaxy, you see, is a stage. It is your chance to play a role like an actor in a production. You are in charge of shaping who and what you are. My smiles and laughs are the person I want people to see me as. But underneath," he calmly walked closer toward the Jawa, "I seek to know the truth. As a child my parents never gave me much attention. I was to myself. And contrary to what most people do on their own, I decided to study."

"I studied many, many things. I found that knowledge was a gateway to understanding the place we truly live in. So I spent years studying things, spending thousands of credits to get my hands on very rare knowledge even. When finally I found out that I was able to use the Force, I decided that I would not limit myself by pertaining to the guides of the Jedi. I don't believe that there is necessarily a good and evil. I believe that these sides were created by the imagination of a self righteous bastard for his own amusement. What some see as the dark side of the Force, I see as the unrestricted side of the Force. So no, I am not here to become the most powerful Force user in the galaxy. I simply aim to see how much I can do. My limits. What are they? That is the real question that needs to be addressed. But that will take years to answer." Pheroth opened his eyes. He had recited this speech almost as if he had practiced it or was reading aloud. But it was what he felt in his heart.

[member="Iziz"]

As Iziz listened he awaited a mistake in his wording, and although he came close with his talk of wanting to know his own limits, it seemed that the answer came from the prospect of wanting to gain knowledge rather than power or entitlement in the force. Iziz found the answer acceptable and well spoken, the telekinetic pressure faded from the room receding back into the jawa like the phantom of a shadow, having never truly been there in the first place. The man before Iziz was, if nothing else, eloquent, which, in of itself was a rare mark for a sith. Though the Jawa could still sense a ruthlessness in Pheroth, something that was in some respects unsavoury, but that was to be expected from anyone within these walls, so, perking his lips up into a smile and his eyes relaxing into wide, almost innocent pools the Jawa cocked his head to a side and announced in a much more happy demeanour.

"Excellent, I will train That Sith."

Iziz allowed his force speed to flow through his body, the act of leaving a mirage behind as he moved faster than human sight would allow to follow was something he was not used to as a sith. But it was something he was more willing to try now that he had successfully pulled it off twice in combat. From a standing position, Iziz allowed the force to flow through his body and looked toward another one of the desks in the room, off to Pheroth's left, darting for it at such speeds the vibrations in the air lingered with his image, enough for an untrained mind to see it as an illusion or mirage for but a moment as Iziz would dart the few short meters and land on the desk to his side.

Hoping to show his student what force speed could be capable of... and hiding his own fatigue at attempting that trick again. To an untrained student, or a non force sensitive, Iziz would have almost appeared to have teleported.

"Force speed. "

The Jawa would begin.

"I find comes more from instinct than anything else, but there are a couple of visualization techniques that can help in its use. By now I would assume that you are able to channel the force through your body at will, to submerge yourself in it, and feel it at the very least moving through you. Active meditation and focus. yadda yadda yadda.

Am i right?"

Nomkneer was on a trip to the academy, he never got a chance to go in it and so he decided to do an exploration. Nomkneer was used to exploring jungles, desserts and anything that had treasures, wild beasts or something that would teach him new things.
Nomkneer was walking through the halls of the academy exploring what he had not the chance to do as he never got into the sith through the academy in the first place, Nomkneer was chosen through his natural talent.

Nomkneer was walking through every hall and every room, not many students were walking around the academy so this gave Nomkneer the freedom to go about and check out everything he ever missed. Nomkneer as he went deeper into the academy he heard muttering using his enhanced hearing from a far room straight ahead. Nomkneer was curious so he ignored any other rooms nad went straight to that one.

As Nomkneer got closer the muttering became more clear to him, "......excellent ...force speed" Nomkneer heard these two words and he was intrigued with whatever was inside that door infront of him, he walked the few steps he had to and before he would open the door and once he went inside he saw two people, The first thought on Nomkneers head was 'soo... the jawa is teaching the silver hair maiden boy something... gonna have to check this out' with alot of interest Nomkneer spoke after they noticed Nomkneer "sorry, i heard some muttering from outside and my curiosity got the best of me, perhaps im mistaken but i heard force speed... wait... are you the sith assasin knight who wields the scorpion tailed blade, iziz? you are very well known and i hear your quite skilled" Nomkneer then got closer to them, "i heard the words force speed when getting closer. Can i perhaps join the class as a sith assasin acolyte i am? I would love to get a lesson from the jawa thats making people talk all around the sith".

(OOC: [member="Nomkneer artzhul"] this is a private lesson that only Iziz and I will be taking part in. Please before you join other people's threads, ask. I will continue my post without acknowledging you. Please do not create another post.)

Pheroth went through the steps of gathering up his hate and anger that made his connection to the Force strong. It swelled within his body, creating a vortex of energy that waited to be unleashed. He looked up at the Jawa, "Now what?" he asked. He had hoped for more explanation before he began. But as a student, he had to learn how to adapt himself to any situation. And this is what he had to deal with. He kept the Force coursing through him as he waited for the Jawa to respond.

[member="Iziz"]

Iziz looked to the two students, but as he was about to continue with his lesson Iziz was interrupted, but not by the kind of person he was expecting, manners was not something you often heard among the sith, so, the Jawa was more than ready and willing to forgive the trespass, nodding and setting to a location beside Pheroth and relaying to him the same information which had been told to the man mere moments before. The one thing the Jawa did not appreciate however, was that Nomkneer knew about his tail... that tail was a surprise weapon which was only ever revealed in few scenarios, in fact only a couple of Sith even knew it existed, the fact that it was being passed from person to person by word of mouth was something that he did not approve of in the slightest.

With a smile iziz would rebutt.

"Scorpion tail? Ha, I guess people will think up anything these days, I'm Jawa, not some cyborg. perhaps they perceived a tail while i was in motion... no matter, back to the class."

Iziz smiled, hoping that the blatant lie would be bought, his tail was coiled around his waist under his clothing in such a manner that it would not be able to be seen by others visibly, but he doubted either of these students would have sensory abilities of a high enough rank that they would simply be able to see through and note the appendage with any amount of ease.

"Now, once you are holding onto that power in your core, I want you to think of it as water, I want you to try and allow it to spread across you, rather than bundle it up. Allow it to fill you, flow through your veins from your fingers to your toes and try to hold it there, keeping a grip on it, don't allow the power to diffuse at this point because the next part can be quite hard. You need to be able to see and plan your moves before you make them and attempt to push yourself faster. You need to break down your understandings of your limitations. Much like with weight and Telekinesis.

Maximum velocity, is an illusion. Ignore it."

Iziz mused.

[member="Pheroth Lisenthrîl"] | [member="Nomkneer artzhul"]

"Pardon me, i did not mean anything, maybe i was confused, but i heard some tales of the jawa assasin"

Nomkneer then after listening what Iziz had to say he sat down in a meditation stance and started to concentrate his energy, this was somewhat easier for Nomkneer for he's had much practice with the meditation and force control, Nomkneer would have a faster learning rate in this part of the learning process

Now Nomkneer had been a few minutes meditating and concentrated on what [member="Iziz"] said, Nomkneer had already seen progress with the flow of energy going through the body, it was canalizing through his body like a deep river going through the mountain, as if the mountain had veigns.

Nomkneer knew Iziz would see his great progress on this part of the process and he knew that at some point he would recognize this, an acolyte having this control, but none the less he has had much practice in many places of this universe. Nomkneer was practically waiting for Iziz to give out the next part of the lesson.

"i think i got it, whats next?"

[member="Nomkneer artzhul"] seemed to be a slightly more advanced student, one who had learned a thing or two about the force before, he seemed to be able to hold a state of meditation well, but he had not moved further with this stage, which suggested that the acolyte was having a little bit of trouble with the motion visualization that he had been talking about seconds prior. It was no bother to the knight however, speed was something that was hard to get used to. Iziz had to run from creatures much larger and faster than him his whole life, running from a Human was hard for a jawa with their much smaller legs, though it was not impossible with the force. To size ratio, Iziz was already the fastest sith to scale. But it was about going further than that.

"Now you need to do what I told you about movement, hold that image in your head, plan a place to go to and will yourself to move there, by now you should have a functional understanding of your body and how it moves, so, the force flowing through your veins is going to move through you, but it can move faster than you can, it is reinforcing you like a building or bone you never knew you had. So, pick a place in this class room, and I want you to move there as fast as you think you are able. But you have to hold that meditative focus... it's not easy."

In doing this Iziz was actually managing to train himself in one of the forms which he had not used in a long time. He himself was keeping a steady focus on the force, and with that, he was maintaining the meditative combat stance which, hopefully, would prove to be a boon later in combat against other opponents.
