The depths of the long-abandoned, ancient Jedi temple held a holocron of great power; revealed to her in her visions as a key to the Emperor's grand designs of a new reality. However potent her premonitions might be, they often failed to account for the actions of pure cretins.
"No!!--" Sinestra's enraged shout was drowned out by the deafening roar of the impending rockslide and collapse of the whole temple over their heads. "--you... fool." her crimson lightsaber hissed to life as she thrust it through the back of the treasure hunter; a Scar Hound renowned for his skill in locating Force artifacts but undone by his reckless, moronic curiosity.
Even as the temple threatened to bury her, Sinestra's determination burned in defiance. Her outstretched hand reached for the holocron, exerting a telekinetic force to pry it from its ancient confines. As the unyielding metal began to bend and twist, she felt a presence lurking behind her.
A familiar one.
