- The key: The barab ingot and key crystal in tandem create a blade that when activated is at a point of losing cohesion causing active energy from the blade to trail an extra foot in length before becoming not lethal. This makes maneuvers more tricky to preform but also extends reach
- Boom!: The attuned Key crystal responds directly to the wielders mental thoughts and allows Valgrim to create shockwaves of increasing intensity at the speed of thought.
- Sinister: The channeling of the blade and focusing on negative emotions further empowers the wielder and others around him to feed off of.
- Born of the darkside: Forcesabers are inherently born of the darkside of the force and are vulnerable to the light. Focused lightside energy has the high possibility of fracturing the weapon or outright destroying it completely in a explosion of force energy.
- Miasma: The twisted effects the darkside brings when the blade is activated can be felt by all around it. Tempting those further into the darkside of the force. Whether you are Jedi or Sith there is no favored choice. All feel the forcesabers empowering or for some tempting/draining effects. Both sides will be effected...if the weapon is used long term, by corruption and darkside degradation at a faster rate then what could be considered normal. A small price to pay.

Sparktongue has aided Valgrim in many small skirmishes and has assisted the korun with his bluff that the weapon is just another lightsaber for him to wield. A foul deception when his foes are "disarmed" while wearing phrik, cortosis or any other metal of the sort. A monster in its own right. Sparktongue has aided Valgrim with his force abilities and how to best hone them with time.
