Sowing The Seeds

The Galaxy was in the most chaotic era for millennia. There always seemed to be an ongoing war somewhere in her. Many nations and empires have risen to great heights and died so quickly within Solaires lifetime. Two Sith Empires, The Republic, Omegan Protectorate, those Fringe Lords, the southern Technostates. Even the Mandalorians had fallen to the dirt. And it all happened in less than 20 years. Of course it was better in a sense than before, the Gulag Plague ravaged the Galaxy and plunged it into darkness. At least you have a chance to dodge a war.

Macharius sighed heavily. Those thoughts weighed him down. Ignoring them wouldn't help him. They were part of the reason he'd arranged a meeting with someone today. It was time to...

"Prime Minister. Queen Organa's ship has landed. She will arrive shortly. Shall I have them ready the lunch?"

"Yes, thank you. That will be all for now."

"Yes sir."

Macharius pulled himself from the chair he'd been thinking in and headed to the front foyer. He had a political colleague pull a favor to use the house they were in. Well really it was an estate out in the country of Nubia's northern continent. Farmland and pristine forests surrounded. It was quite beautiful if one preferred a more natural beauty. Maybe she'd like it. Solaire preferred Denon's endless cityscape. Of course he's prefer his homeworld to anywhere else.

"Captain." Solaire had arrived the foyer and called for his security officer. "Queen Organa will arrive soon and I want nothing to happen. Keep security tight. See to it Captain."

The Captain only gave a crisp salute across his chest. He knew what to do. The men knew. Solaire had complete faith in them that nothing, should it happen. Would even bother their meeting. With that peace of mind Solaire went outside to await for the Queen on the front steps. Off in the distance he could see her ship. Not long now he thought.

The request from the Prime Minister of Denon had come unexpectedly, considering the distance of Denon from Coalition space and from Alderaan she expected he would have contacted the Alliance.

Further wanting to have it on Nubia as if hiding their meeting she wasn't sure whether to be intrigued or concerned. But she did recognize the name she thought for sure that [member="Macharius Solaire"] was in the Senate at one time in the Republic. She wasn't sure her memory at times played tricks on her and with Ana now on maternity leave she had to rely more on her own memory that Ana's.

The Royal Guard, with Captain Lindsey accompanied Faith to Nubia as they did anytime Faith traveled.

As soon as they had landed and secured the ship, Faith disembarked and headed towards the designated meeting area. She smiled as she approached the steps. "Greetings, I'm Faith of Alderaan, I believe you are expecting me" She waited to be sure.

"Indeed I have your majesty. Macharius Solaire at your service." Macharius reached outward towards the queen with his right arm and came to attention, His hand was held in a fist which he brought over his heart. This was the Denonian Salute. Many would bow to royalty. It was not the culture of his people to bow to anyone though. Thus the salute is used to show respect, Mach also being an old soldier; it was muscle memory for him. "Now lets get inside. Lunch is nearly prepared and we have some serious topics we must discuss over it. In private"

Faith nodded, respectful of his salute she looked over to the Captain. "Set the guards, please attend me." She began walking with [member="Macharius Solaire"] , "Thank you for inviting me here. I look forward to our discussions"

What could it be that the Prime Minister wanted from the Coalition, or was it just from Alderaan. She would find out shortly. They were able to walk inside quickly the brisk cool breeze that pushed at the landing area had started to give Faith goosebumps. Captain Lindsey deployed guards two at the ship, two on the doors leading inside, and then he would have two more outside the room where Faith met with the Prime Minister.

It was his job to keep her safe right now.

The warmth welcomed Faith as they entered the room she could have followed the smells to get there. It was the smell of bread and home that made her stomach growl, she laughed nervously. Why was her stomach doing that?

"Everything smells wonderful from here Prime Minister." oo
