Strengths:

• Jack of all Trades – As is the standardized fighter of The Sovereignty, the Sovereign Starfighter strives to be capable in all of it’s pursuits to make it a practically-minded, mass-produced, and tactically-versatile vessel.
• Easily Modifiable – Given the correct resources to make it so, the Sovereign Starfighter is an easily modifiable vessel both technically and cosmetically-speaking. This makes the S-Wing suitable for any special mission with the garnered resources and engineering ingenuity.
• Maneuverable Propulsion System - The Sovereign Starfighter possesses a maneuverable propulsion system to compensate for it's wide-frame, allowing for it to be more maneuverable on it's side thrusters for more complicated tactical maneuvers.

Weaknesses:

• No Hyperdrive – As is a common fault with many space superiority starfighters used by galactic governments, the Sovereign Starfighter lacks a hyperdrive, and is dependent on its carrier vessel to see hyperspace travel.
• Wide Frame - the S-Wing possesses a wide frame, which causes for it too take up more space.

Description:

SOVSTARF-Series Sovereign Starfighter (S-Wing) serves as the quintessential workhorse and model starfighter of the Sovereign Navy. More specifically, the S-Wing serves as the primary space superiority fighter of the Sovereignty. In addition, another design choice of the S-Wing was to make it not only adaptable in its production, but to make it easily modulable as well; this allows for the S-Wing to be adaptable for any specific special missions that need undertaking without the expedience of additional resources, such as commissioning the project of a special aircraft for a special operation. For an example, while it might not be possible to add extra passengers without a serious renovation of the ship, but it's possible to instead replace or add another armament, or to equip an S-Wing with a hyperdrive. The standardized military armaments of the S-Wing are equipped with four laser cannons and two proton torpedo launchers. In terms of its standardized defenses, the S-Wing is equipped with both a reinforced hull and deflector shield.
