Sonoia: Corporate Headquarters

The sun rose over Sonoia City, the capital of the Sonoia planet. Despite being deep within the Rishi Maze, Sonoia is advanced enough to be self-sustaining. With a planet rich in biodiversity - such as Naboo - as well as minerals, this allows for Sonoia to grow several megacities at a comfortable rate.

Already, Darren Apollo was on his way to work. Driving a Montiac speeder through the sky, Darren managed to skip the rush hour traffic by getting to work earlier than normal.

His destination was the corporate headquarters of Stellar Energy, known as: One Stellar Plaza.

Once he got there, Darren went to the parking garage. He drove up to a terminal in front of a gate and scanned his badge into it. Then, the terminal scanned his face to confirm his identity. This was standard for Stellar Energy’s security - even at the entrance into the lobby on the ground floor.

After Darren parked his car, he made his way to the parking garage entrance into the building. It too had a terminal that required him to scan his badge and face. This would be common throughout the facility as both an accountability and security measure.

Darren Apollo did not have to walk far to reach the elevators. He passed by several employees on his way. They would simply exchange smiles - some would even wave. They were not workers that he was familiar with. Yet, he was easily recognizable as the CEO by these employees.

The reason why could be seen at the elevator. About eight feet up was a holovision that was broadcasting a ten-minute report - featuring Darren Apollo himself. Normally, the holovision shows Box News. Yet every other hour, it will show Apollo’s weekly report.

The report was short and simple. It would explain weekly changes in operations and make any huge internal announcements to employees. Apollo would also take the time and highly outstanding employees and departments from the past week. The report was well received - and since the new report came out during lunchtime, many people would watch it together.

When an elevator arrived for Darren, he was alone in getting aboard. He pressed a button for one of the highest floors in the building and began his quick climb up.
