Sometimes You Just Have To Go

When you wanted to pick up customers who needed discreet and speedy transport, Lower Coruscant was the way to go. The skeezy underbelly, the core of the world.. Jassifa Pik loved it. Though, previous encounters had shown her that when it came to picking up customers, sometimes it was better just to stay in the damn freighter until they called you. Much less of a hassle when you just kept to your knitting, and didn't include booze in the equation.

The Sephi stretched out in the captain's chair, her feet resting on the console while she waited for a customer to send a ping to her ship in response to the ad she'd just shot out on the 'net, saying:

THE SPACE CAB IS IN PORT.

CEC XS-1200 FREIGHTER HAS ROOM FOR 3-4 PASSENGERS + LUGGAGE

YOU PAY FUEL COSTS, 30 CREDITS FOR A BUNK. YOU FEED YOURSELF.

WE GO WHERE YOU WANT TO GO, NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

NO ILLEGAL CARGO. I'M SICK OF TRYING TO TELL THE FEDS WHY MY LAST PASSENGER LEFT SPICE TRACE IN MY CARGO HOLD. I'M A CAB DRIVER, NOT A SMUGGLER.

YOU SHOOT ME, I PUSH YOU OUT AN AIRLOCK. NO JAWAS.

COMM CALL L3G54DAY5, SUBJECT -CABBIE PIK-

Until she heard from anyone, Jassifa was taking a nap. She had already refueled and resupplied; all she needed was customers. Her hat pushed low over her eyes and her crewmate Hoover Pik snuggled into her lap like an overlarge cat, they settled in for a snooze..
