Solidor Slane despite his predecessors is known as a kind and compassionate individual who seeks a more halcyonic approach to matters, preferring to better understand the issues at hand before formulating an opinion. Solidor Slane is a noble that holds the rank of a Jedi Master. He is more of a historian and a scholar than he is a politician, though over the years he has learned to deal quite well with political matters as well as negotiation. In his youth, Solidor was a well-known duelist, having become an excellent practitioner in Makashi as well as a master of Soresu by the time he was in his forties. He has since continued to develop his skills as a fighter, though he prefers peaceful confrontation more than anything else, as a result, he trains very heavily on utilization of the Force and wielding it as a tool rather than a weapon.​

+ In his youth, Solidor was a prominent duelist; an expert practitioner of Makashi and a master of Soresu. His fighting style when used primarily focus on blocks, parries, and ripostes.​

+ Because Solidor prefers peace over violence he has developed a very convincing platform from which he speaks from. He is a skilled negotiator and mentalist.​

- Solidor may be an experienced Jedi, but he has passed his prime shape many years ago. He still retains his skill in the Force as well as defensive forms of lightsaber combat, but there are many that are younger than him that can outpace him. ​

- Solidor is always quick to choose peace over action, thus he is often reluctant to perform anything if it will lead to conflict.​

Solidor Slane's typical suit is weaved from Shell Spider Silk, providing a lightweight, flexible and rather durable base that protects him from the most common and basic of weapons used throughout the galaxy. He wears a formal suit as opposed to robes, though he often wears a fine leather coat over his shoulders, kept in place via small chains.​
