Corporation Name: SoilWorks
Headquarters: Morellia
Locations: Morellia
Tier: 2
CEO: Miss Delilah Ames

Description:
SoilWorks is a brand new company founded for one thing and one thing alone, the restoration of war-torn towns, cities, and planets.

Over the past several decades wars have devastated world after world. The Sith Empire, The Primeval, The One Sith, and a dozen other minor factions have all been rampantly destroying and attacking whatever they could. Planets have been torn apart, beaten, and razed to the ground. Rebuilding them has become increasingly more difficult as time goes on and the damage accrues. Economies of planets like Dromund Kaas or Alderaan experience significant declines with each new attack, the people of these worlds suffering as one faction or another vies for control.

SoilWorks was built under the aegis of the Silver Sanctum Coalition, with a desire to repair what was broken.

Though many government bodies seek to destroy and control growth, the SSC offers relative peace away from the warring core of the galaxy. It is because of this that SoilWorks arose on Morellia.

The company was founded only this year, with major backing from private investors as well as the government of Morellia. Though the planet itself has not seen battle, it is part of the Coalition and knows that its sister worlds have suffered within the last decades. The company thus seeks to develop and create technologies that will allow planets destroyed by war to grow and recover. It will achieve this through new, more efficient mining techniques and construction projects, intending to eventually expand to aspects like terra-forming and land reconciliation.

SoilWorks is a company built on ethics, good work, and the intention of seeing the galaxy flourish once more.

Divisions:

Mining: Soilworks currently only exists in two actual divisions. The Company has just been founded, and as such there need to be a time of adjustment and growth. This growth comes from multiple sources, though for now it is of the utmost important's that the company shows it's value and earning potential. It was decided early on that the best way to do this was through the production and increased yield of new, economically friendly means of mining. To this end, SoilWorks' flagship enterprise is the introduction of new mining technologies into the galaxy.

These technologies center around upgrading and building mines within Sanctum space to allow for the production of newer and cleaner resources. The eventual goal of this is to make strip-mining obsolete, ensuring that worlds remain habitable and beautiful even after their resources have been extracted.

Construction: The best and perhaps greatest aspect of SoilWorks is its drive to create Utilizing the resources that it has gained with the mining industry, SoilWorks plans to take up construction as well. This is of course only natural, with the company's pitch being all about going green. Due to its new mining technology, increased yields, and larger profit margins, SoilWorks can appropriate a chunk of its resources and income to construction projects which would otherwise be far too costly.

To put it simply, SoilWorks uses its own mines on a planet to subsidize its construction projects. This aids both governments and independent companies who contract with SoilWorks, allowing for fast production of new buildings and even entire cities. SoilWorks is entirely devoted to these projects, having a slim project margin in most of them so they can instead focus on producing quality work.

Rationale:
Though Miss Ames grew up in a well-off family, her father raised her to be conscientious and responsible for her actions. A thorough education at the Royal University of Theed introduced her to the horrible repercussions of wars past and present, and as she watched the battle in the core from the sidelines, Delilah made a decision.
Precisely four years and three months later, the woman strode back into Sanctum space, now the proud owner of a PhD. and many other accolades besides. With the backing of a bright and (dare she claim) impeccable academic record in her field, Miss Ames quickly rose awareness for her cause.

With a powerful slogan and conviction burning in her eyes, Delilah seemingly built SoilWorks practically overnight. Instead of merely mincing 'shoulds' and 'musts', the woman jumped in with both feet, firmly swinging herself in the saddle of the rebuilding efforts. Even now, a year later, her dedication and zeal have yet to falter, and SoilWorks continues to grow along with each planet they help.
