While everyone else had boarded the ship to head back to Teth, one brave little Je'daii had not. In fact, he'd deliberately separated himself from the group, especially from [member="Jyn Sol"], because he could feel presences of volatility on the world further than just the one that had been [member="Connor Harrison"]. These ones, while volatile, seemed more constrained, and perhaps optimistic. He couldn't quite SEE them because they weren't nearby, but they might have been kids like himself. He wasn't sure, but he was curious enough to find out, even though he knew that Jyn was going to be upset with him later.

So while the ship with all of the others took off to head back to Teth, he'd stood behind one of the stone columns of the temple and watched it go. He was certain that he'd be back with them soon enough. In fact, he was pretty positive of it. For now, though, he wanted to be the little Actaeon that his mother had always referred to.

Slinking across the ample arable land was relatively easy for him. Being largely green skinned and of a mixture of a race of hunters and a race of the nimble and quick, even as a child he was capable of moving about without being too obtrusive. Tall grass was his greatest friend, as he could weave through it without making a single stalk sway from his passing. Only short grasses brought him out into the open. Of this there was plenty, but he maneuvered carefully to try and stay out of sight where he could. The world, he knew, was controlled by a government called The First Order. He didn't know what that meant, but since he'd noticed the feeling of abundant darkness, he didn't particularly think it was good. Then again, he couldn't say it was evil, either.

He simply didn't know.

But then, that was why he was slinking about in search of the dark presences that he'd felt. Somewhere out there was someone who'd drawn his curiosity enough to make him ditch the others. If he didn't find them he'd just head back to Teth. If he did, well, he was sure to ask a lot of questions.
