So it all begins again
Night, Far Outside Lorrd City, Planet Lorrd, Kanz Sector, The Outer Rim

sunset.jpg

Desert sands and their currents could be so beautiful, but the sun sets on blood red skies tonight.

Sands blowing, carrying what was into dust. Time claimed all things, except the marks you made on events and left in a place, the energy or the feel, the connecting points which made a difference when it counted. It had been hundreds of years since the Betrayer had set foot on Lorrd, encased in his crystal sleep, and while many things changed, many things stayed the same here.

Flashes in the dark as the fight began, red glows, smoke rising and the sounds of screams on the wind.

You’d be forgiven for wondering why Raien Keth had chosen Lorrd of all places, given its hatred of slavers to setup his slave pits. You’d be forgiven if you didn’t understand how he thought. Take the greatest wound possible and magnify it till it was something else, leveraging it. He had not the network of agents of old, but that would start again here, as it had 700 years ago.

A slaving group had dared to enter orbit, dared to come here, touching their freighter down to begin their business. If Raien Keth could smile he would have done, the old routes were being used again, predictably, forgetting what had transpired those hundreds of years ago. Fetching a huge price on Lorrd, someone always fed the demand, slavery was of course outlawed by the harshest punishments, so the few who needed slaves, paid a fortunate here.

The shell of Krayt’s reborn black armor carried out its bloody namesake, Rakattan runic fire inscribed on the relic burning through the night sky. Wearing it and his that history like an armor of its own, Raien's Sith certainty moved between the slavers, biogenic droids with him. The black, half man, half machine warriors were faceless expendable creations, wielding melee and stun weapons which caught their quarry unaware, wounding not killing, they needed their live stock.

The sands surrounding the plains far from the city, became dunes of pain and suffering, echoing the same way they had all those years ago, there was little to block the noise but then most everywhere was empty, most everywhere...

She had heard whispers in the wind that Lorrd had slaves hidden in its desert sands. There would always be such rumors so Ana didn't pay much attention to such things. If she followed every little thing that she heard that was all that the young woman would be doing. Ana certainly was not that paranoid about such things anymore or not as much as she used to be. If something came of these whispers while she was here that was a different story.

Slavery was an issue that was near to her heart. When she saw it Ana would stop it around the galaxy. The people here were of the same mindset as she was. They had outlawed it to the point of almost killing salvers which didn't surprise her. There were not many people whom were willing to go to that step. Ana was which was why she believed that she had been called today for a job.

The man that had called her hadn't exactly given details as he wanted to keep things under wraps the best that he could. Ana got it, the wall had ears and she had no problem traveling especially since her boyfriend was busy himself. She had time to make a little extra money herself which she could use for the upcoming vacation they were planning together.

Ana for now was just sitting and waiting for her informant to arrive. She had gotten here early just to scout out the place and sit in the back. This way she could watch all that was going on.

The battle was short, and brief. The stunned slavers were rounded up, hauled away and put in chains by the biodroids. As it had been several hundred years ago, the Betrayer's certainty on his task increased, a pressured focus in the air extended outward, the past coming to life again.

A gloved hand was extended toward the nearest ex-slave raising her to her feet, years spent in chains most of her life, there was bitterness in her eyes and Raien could see it, as the slaves were freed some went to beat the slavers and Raien let them, he let them vent and enjoy their anger.

“You are free, to do what you choose, walk away, or you are free to visit the same fate, that these men gave you.” Behind Krayt’s helmet he studied each face, some were clearly about to just leave, but there were some who were curious, as it always was.

“Look at their faces, these men who did this to you, let them be in your place. Let the galaxy know that the slavers will be the slaves, join me and we will show every slaver their fate.” Raien’s wounded voice was no longer weak and gritty, it was powerful since his rebirth in Krayt’s armor, it spoke like the old Echani he used to be, only deeper, more concentrated with the darkside.

Droids bodies lay scattered around, black husks of man, machine and insect, they would be left to the sands. Slavers were rounded up… holes dug deeper into the belly of the desert to begin the construction of the new pits, and thus began part two of the plan, to reach out the young or the vulnerable of Lorrd, to foster their hatred of slavery and use it.

Two days past…

He could not go directly else risk been seen to early, the armor he wore, a relic of times past could never be removed, and one day it would be his death. Protection, power and history with a price, always a price. Ahead a young blue twi’lek of 17 would go, named [member="Tadi’etti"]. Standing by his side through his tortures, how she hated Raien, and how she understood him. The twi’lek girl departed for the streets of Lorrd, several old slaves with her. Tadi’etti was veiled of course in black, an elegant deep blue dress covering the rest of her, the blue lady rarely if ever walked without her mask

Their target:
Lorrd City Warehouse District

A gathering of the PLA workers union, pro-lorrdian-alliance radicals if there ever were any, their view on the conditions of the working population was nothing short of militant. Speakers were gathered shouting at each other, almost all Lorrdians here obviously, and most were fiercely invested in their cause. Rumors of slaves on Lorrd again had done nothing to quell the mood here, as you might imagine people were angry, very angry.

The night dragged on for Ana as her contact stood her up at the cantina. He had been ten minutes late when the message finally came through that he was indisposed and they would have to reschedule. Running a hand through her hair Ana sighed as she read it back once more and replied with a simple “Ok, let me know before sending it off into hyperspace. Taking a sip of her caf Ana glanced around the cantina once more. It was quite dead which was why she assumed it had been chosen as the meeting place. There were other places around here which were livelier but that was a stab in the dark as Ana didn’t know this city. What she needed was work, she hadn’t come here for nothing but first she would need to finish her caf.

The credits that the young woman had been hoping for were to help Ana afford to go on a vacation with her love. She could simply as her brother but Ana wanted to be able to do this on her own. If she was going to get the excluded cabin that she had to pick up extra credits from something. Ana was sure that even a quiet city such as this would have need for her and she was going to figure it out.

After quite an uneventful night but a good cup of caf none the less Ana threw a few credits on the table before getting up to head to the room she had rented. If she wanted to get information there was no better place sometimes than holonet especially when people here didn’t seem to be talking much. There were whispers of things but no hard evidence perhaps she would look more into that.

Two days later Ana was still in the city focusing on those rumors which seemed to be growing. Her Force sensitives were tingling which was probably the real reason that the young woman was there. Something wasn’t right here and she needed to figure out what it was before things got more out of hand than they already were.

Grabbing a bagel this morning from the little shop in hotel she had headed to the warehouse district where protests this morning had begun to ring out. These people were angrier than they had ever before. She could understand it from a certain point but Ana could see the fire in their eyes as if something else was in the works. As she munched her bagel she just watched and listened for now not getting herself involved right away.

Bluemask.jpg

Lady Blue, masked as ever in her elegant blue floral lace dress, draping neckline, with a detailed flora pattern at the sides, seamlessly blended blacks and blue. She was a twi’lek though behind her mask you struggled to tell, her lekku were veiled and her rutian skin barely exposed.

Accompanied by her usual staff of underlings, a large houk carrying some form of axe, six trandoshans and a red zeltron named Mariuso, who while he had a cheerful smile was one of the slimiest denizens on Nar Shadda, with a great talent for talking his way out of trouble. All were looked on here with suspicion, though they’d been booked to speak, the pro Lorrdian’s here were understandably not taking too kindly to the foreigners.

Mariuso head of her little band, offered his own welcome, true to his name the voice of the lady.

“Friends friends, I can understand your venom, we are strangers in your land, and you should rightly mistrust outsiders.” Mariuso spoke while lady blue veiled as she was stood by his side without a word, only silently nodding or moving her hands if she wanted something done.

“Surely you all know now that slavers are trading, slavers no less on your land not an hours ride from the cities limits. This cannot be allowed to stand, I ask all Lorrdians to join us in our contempt of these vile creatures.” Mariuso couldn’t help but genuinely smile, but he played it as a nod to the nearest angry Lorrdians who were halfway between doubting him and waving their fist at him, or just outraged in general, but it was something to work from and the Sith on his way knew it.

There was a stronger force presence somewhere but Raien was not yet here, just the faintest hints of something more malevolent in the background. The stage being set, perfectly as before. Though there was of course many hurdles to overcome, the ground was being paved unless could challenge his reasoning and the hold he would exert.

The day currently was quite blah except for the excitement of the union workers though she had seen people more hyper. Ana was a Mandalorian after all and they had a war song and dance. Loud and crazy things never seemed to phase her anymore but that didn't mean she didn't enjoy listening. Munching on her bagel she listened to one worker drone on about long hours and low pay. The workers at her brother's business were paid well but did put in long hours. The next words out of his mouth were a long stretch as he stated that they were being treated no better than slaves. At least they got to go home at the end of the day to their family. Ana had been locked up in a cage when whatever was done torturing her for the day.

Ana actually paused to take notice as an odd grouping joined the protest and as the red Zeltron began to speak Ana turned to look. A declaration of slavers in their mist was quite interesting so perhaps there was something to this whisper that she heard. The group began to yell and shout at this new grouping but she couldn't really make out what they were saying. At this point Ana honestly figured that they were just yelling to yell. She didn't like this one bit at all and was getting a bad feeling about all of it. Still she tried her best to speak out amongst the screaming. "How do you know, what proof do you have?" Ana probably was the only logical one here at the moment. Her voice carried though as a few must have heard her and posed similar questions drowning out her own voice. It was for the best, Ana didn't wish to put herself on display.

[member="Tadi'etti"] [member="Raien Keth"]

What proof did they have? Quite a clever and direct question cutting through the crowds, at least lady blue thought so, but remained behind her veil, her mask to the world outside. Mariuso was drawn in to speak however, as that was his job.

Mariuso:

“Why I was certainly hoping we’d have a keen mind to ask such a thing,” slimy flatterer, as was his nature, the coy smile was everything it looked to be. “Just the other day, I heard the most troubling reports from a very close friend.”

The crowds were boisterous already riled up, as long as they didn’t just attack the people on the stage, they might well already have their leverage, just one troublesome question, his eyes blinked, watching the female who had asked

Putting his hands up calming the crowd, in a mock gesture…others asked the same question, in their own way. “Friends, friends, I understand I do, but I can take you there. I can take you to where this hideous crime is being done, right now, on your doorstep.”

The rabble rousing going on in the crowd, didn’t stop or calm, some believed him, some didn’t but everyone was angry about something, either life in general, the distrust of the foreigners, or the possibility slavers were here outside their city, on Lorrd. This was a meeting to get something done, and all this was doing, was point that anger at someone else. That the play here, but why were the hutts involved?

Lady Blue:

All Tadietti did for the Zeltron, was place a hand on Mariuso's wrist, and he immediately stopped speaking. The small unassuming twi’lek by his side was the one in charge, even if it never appeared that way unless you looked, closely.

Besides that… the Sith presence was closer now, it might feel like scraping metal, old wounds, single-mindedness or crushed pressure.

[member="Anastasia Rade"]

This group was doing nothing more right now than causing chaos and soon she feared that their would be a riot. She could sense the anger and fear within all of them and it was only a matter of time until it all exploded. If they had something than Ana wanted to see it now before things got out of control here.

"Take us to it," she yelled through the crowd in hopes that she would be heard. Ana was trying to keep her emotions in check amongst all that was negative. She needed to break up this crowd. If that meant they were all going to see this proof than so be it.

Those now on the platform were different than those protesting which made her stop for a second and wonder who they were. Why were they here? The red one seemed to be in charge but Ana had other thoughts about that. The way he stopped speaking when the blue one put her hand on him spoke of a different tale. She was the one to watch out for and the only reason Ana was able figure it was was from her days as a slave herself.

"If we can't get the wages fixed we can at least stop the slavers!" She yelled throwing her fist in the air. If she wished that pump up people she could do it but normally that came in the way of a Mandalorian war song and dance.

Everyone was in agreement, even the original speaker, it was time to make it happen. Thudding metal boots brought the reborn form of Krayt’s armor forward, many spikes littering the outer shell. Raien’s mild crushing pressure on the outside air, showed his focus extending to the group. All were tools to be utilized in his expansion, the galaxy unaware of what was coming, it had forgotten, and it would be made to remember.

Darth Surtr entered the meeting, the crowd seeming ready to be shepherded along, “We have them contained for now. We require your help.” The gritty rebuilt voice of the betrayer spoke, more powerfully since his encasement and rebirth as a Sithspawn, but still carrying the old wounds. Raien had a sharp keen focus on force potential and only force potential, but he was also single minded in the extreme, at the moment that single-mindedness was focused on the dull grey of the forceless he saw in front of him, the crowds. Thankfully for [member="Anastasia Rade"] she was as yet unconsidered individually in his plans, because arrogantly everyone was in his plans.

“Transport awaits.”

Though it could be said Raien Keth’s appearance gave anyone pause, the black spiked form of the durasteel and vong crab armor was unnerving, it did reflect his mood, the force dead organism mirroring his own ambition with subtle hues of red and deep black certainty behind it.

Hesitant at the sight of the arriving Sith and his biodroids, he was aided by the charismatic zeltron’s timely intervention. “See, it even brings this to your door, the situation is dire friends, you must come and see it for yourself.” Putting Raien in the antagonists role, setting up the scene as planned.

One or two of the group wanted to remain behind to tell the authorities, so one or two of the cartel’s men remained behind to ‘assist them’, their deaths would likely be quick and silent after everyone had left.

So the small exodus to the slaver's site began, a turn of the Betrayer’s head to each, including Anastasia, considering her part of the whole, part of those coming to assist him, the most vocal of the group were looked up with the most interest to their potential use.

To the downed slavers freighter

Rolling sand dunes for a good hour, their only company was the dry desert winds. Until it brought them to a smoking wreck of a freighter…. men being arranged in chains, at first sight it looked exactly as promised.

[member="Anastasia Rade"]

She was a little surprised that everyone had calmed down enough to actually listen and take action. Ana had been quite worried that this would turn into a riot which would be a mess. She would have been compelled to actually assist in calming it down and then the cat would be out of the bag so to speak. If she could, Ana wanted to keep her sensitivity to the force a secret. It was no longer considered it a bad thing in her eyes just she didn’t see the need to flaunt it, Ana never did.

Ana’s eyebrows raised as someone joined the group. He was dressed much differently than the others and had an unnerving commanding presence. She wasn’t as unnerved as some of those around her where though as she could see some begin to shake. The young woman belonged to a culture of warriors and she in her own right was a warrior as well. Ana dealt with commanding armor clad people on a daily basis. Instead of really listening to his words she focused more on his armor as that she knew would tell her more about him. It looked similar to Vong armor though which made her think he could be one or that as well could be just ruse. He could be a nice Sith trying to help the people of the planet but Ana was skeptical that one of those existed.

She didn’t trust any of this especially with the arrival of the Sith. Ana had watched countless Vode slay at the hands of the Sith and the pain that they caused. It was the Sith whom had kept her in captivity for her whole life and ordered her to be tortured as they watched. They kept her alive in hopes that one day her will would be broken and she would just give in. Ana blamed herself for the deaths of many slaves whom were killed because she wouldn’t become one of them. It was something that still haunted her today. The Sith were cruel heartless people and at many times slavers themselves. Ana would be watching the black and red armored one very closely during this trip, if one could call it that. She couldn’t help but be curious about him and what his angle was as she knew they all had different ones or so they said.

The trip there was quite uneventful except for the few workers whom were whispering to each other about what they may see there. It was clear that they were still angry and riled up about everything and couldn’t wait to ‘pound some slavers into the ground’. It wouldn’t take much to tip them over the edge and make them explode.

As they piled out of the transport the scene was exactly as [member="Raien Keth"] described it men and woman of all different races in chains being arranged. The arrangement looked to her as if the owner was getting ready to sell a few of them off to the highest bidder. Ana couldn’t help but shudder slightly as a memory of the past creeped into her head. It hadn’t been that long ago that she had stood in such a line to be looked at as nothing more than a piece of meat. The hungry look in men’s eyes had always frightened her but she had never been truly sold.

“How did you come across this?” Ana questioned as she folded her arms across her chest turning slightly to look at the leader or well at least she thought he was. It looked as if he could easily take care of this himself so why hadn’t he? Ana had so many questions but she didn’t wish to put herself out there anymore than she already had. She wished one of workers could be vocal as well but they were all too consumed with rage. “How can we help put a stop to this?” It was really the only question that mattered which was why she had chosen to ask it.

Darkside Dragon (Dead PM Writers Account)
“There will always be slavers in this galaxy,” Raien’s gritty voice stated. Pulling up the first armed twi’lek he saw, to hold her wrist and raise it to show the chain marks, the bruises, “You see the slaves they took, and now you see their fate,” releasing her. A once silver-tongued speaker, all that was left of that Echani was wounds and self-absorbed machinations of power.

What the Lorrdians were facing would soon become clear, freed slaves with hatred in their eyes. “These men and women stand against the slavers, they have turned the tables, will you join them?” However this was complicated, the masquerading hutts with him would happily assist the slavers, or Raien would happily see them in chains, it seemed as if both sides of the equation were already sewn up. Unless some clever Mandalorian had an insight or tact to break this cycle, Raien would win either way, and the Lorrdians would lose, perhaps lose themselves here.

Angry as they were, the Lorrdians couldn’t believe it, they couldn’t believe slavers had dared come here, and worse they couldn't believe the cages they were seeing now. If there was almost a riot before, there was angry yelling now, both at the freed slaves and the slavers in the cages. It could very easily ignite into something worse, the whole situation was perilous.

“We put a stop to this, by showing the slavers what awaits them.” Raien indicated to the cages, “On Lorrdian worlds, the slavers will become the enslaved.” Raien had however completely ignored Anastasia's first question, playing to the crowds instead. While behind him, bruised, beaten, malnourished slaves now held the leash of their former masters, it was poetic in an utterly vile Sith way.

Somewhere in the background a tracking beacon was beeping away on the ship… but few would know would see it, only perhaps someone with a force sense might eventually realise something else was in the works.

[member="Anastasia Rade"]

She didn't like slavery just as those surrounding her didn't. Ana wanted to put an end to it but what the Sith spoke didn't change anything. It would just put the power into someone else's hands and that she wouldn't have either. The young woman had fought for decades to keep herself from becoming another slaver. She had been offered worlds, a kingdom and that they would take all the pain away if she just followed them. When she continuously said no they resorted to killing off those other slaves she had seemed to like. No, she didn't allow that to happen then and she wouldn't allow it to happen now. It was time she took a stand.

"No, we will not stoop down to their level. We are better than that." Ana stated as she took a step forward away from the crowd whom had been lapping up what he was saying. "If we enslave the slavers we are no better than them. That would make us slavers and I know that is exactly the last thing that any of you want."

Ana was doing her best to use the force to calm down the maddening crowd. It was hard though as they had been angry before coming here and all this monster needed to do was push just a little to get them all to explode. Had Ana not been firmly focused on trying to subdue the crowd on her own she would have felt that little itch which would have told her something else was in the works.

The cat was out of the bag so to speak and Ana was out in the open to face the one behind all of this. He was exactly like those whom had tortured her like a child which meant she had a leg up when dealing with him. Ana knew how to play his game so she hoped he was ready for his. Turning to the crowd she yelled "Go home, he's lying to you. He doesn't want to help the situation only make things worse."

Darkside Dragon (Dead PM Writers Account)
Last time Surtr’s methods had been to corrupt the young, to infiltrate the universities, in his present form he would never be able to walk those roads again, too much had been sacrificed, but facing her here was much like a certain Dark Jedi Master that had stood against him last time decades ago. Focus increased on her and his task to meet the challenge, his victory had been assured then as it would be now, beneath Krayt’s reborn armor he began to study Anastasia using her as the leverage to find those loyal to him. The combat circle became the gathering, with her at the center, another battlefield in another form.

“You do not feel the pain in their eyes do you?” Raien stepped forward, looking at her, wondering her motives, looking for weakness or leverage, seeking internal battles within the woman. “You do not see the hollowness and tortures they have suffered.” The crowd who had been swaying back to Anastasia now swayed back again, they were splitting, but that was part of it too, he didn’t need everyone, just enough, what this was, was a test of loyalty.

The Betrayer turned to the aliens behind him, finding some of the form he used to have, hints of the past, his voice laced with false compassion but pain, pain he knew well. He turned to look at how some stood bruised or beaten, others were forced to bend to stand at all, few had eaten right in months, the hollow looks in some of their eyes said it all, “if you control it, it cannot happen again,” Raien offered the leash of control. “If you leave it and walk away, someone fills the void, do not cower from your heritage and past,” which was the very core of his life, and life’s path, seeking to control all conflict and manipulate the wars he had wrought across his life, it was the only way, in Darth Surtr’s eyes.

“Would you see their suffering returned again in five years, ten, how long is long enough to wait?” Raien walked closer to Anastasia, his compassion was false, there was no emotion behind it, but the strength and outer shell of his conviction remained true even now. Pressure increased, depth of focus drawing some of the crowd in, while others stood in shock, one slave even began to cry.

[member="Anastasia Rade"]

Ana could feel her blood begin to boil as he dare tell her that she couldn’t see the pain and torture in their eyes. She had night terrors almost every night reliving all the horrors that had happened to her. He had no idea whom she was and had no right to tell her that she had no sympathy for those in slavery. “I know fully well how they feel and how hopeless everything seems to them. I grew up in a Graug slave camp so I feel their pain. The way to help them is not through revenge and turning them into slaves no matter how much we want to. It doesn’t take our pain away or help us heal. They should be punished but not like this.” She finished stepping closer to the Sith. Ana wouldn’t back down from this; she would never back down from fighting against the horrors of slavery. This was wrong, plain and simple no matter how he tried to fluff it up.

It pained her to see the beaten bruised slaves in front of her and brought her back to a place that she had buried deep inside of her. Running a hand over her arm Ana closed her eyes for a second trying to refocus herself but the memories of the past had begun to creep back into her mind. Every torturous moment playing over in her head as if on repeat. She was numb for a moment as she turned away from the sight of it all. “I’m not a coward for running away after getting free. I was a weak little girl in the slave pits but I’m not anymore and I won’t stand for this torture to anybody. Control what? The galaxy? All the slaves? I will never become a slaver.”

Sighing again she looked back to the man addressing the group with the crowd. Ana couldn’t understand why they were all just standing there. “We should be getting these people medical attention, food, water. Why are we all just standing here? That’s what they really need.” She turned to the crowd this time.

[member="Raien Keth"]

Darkside Dragon (Dead PM Writers Account)
“Name it then, what more fitting punishment is there for a slaver, than to be enslaved himself?” As she stopped closer, so did he, Raien stood directly in front of her now challenging, to see if she’d lose her cool, the spikes of his crab armor inches from her. The betrayer honestly couldn’t see one, though if he was honestly nobody here mattered to him, only those with force potential, so focused on her as he was, he was beginning to wonder why she had attracted his attention.

“The only way is to control what happens, not allow this to carry on its own.” Some of the crowd were obviously with her, as they started to move towards the cages, but then some of the former slaves stopped them, egged on by a few of the cartel tactfully placed nearby, it could well develop into a tense or even violent stand off. Raien didn’t even move a muscle, he was often the absence of motion, the gravity and his pressured focused on her increased.

“A slave? How convenient to have your insight, how do we not know she is one of them? Come to see her friends spared their rightful fate.” Raien said looking through her almost, seeing what was at the core of the woman, any small tells from her body language were studied by now absent Echani eyes, for he was a Sith spawn, his words were empty shells of the passion for a cause he used to have, the red skin beneath the armor showed nothing left of Raien Keth. “Running from her past…” His gritty words and voice sought to cut, to pierce her resolve, to enter her mind, and now were accentuated in the force for all to do the same, “like she would have you do.”

That blinking tracking beacon on the ship was still flashing away, while the flaring anger from the slaves that had remained was mounting. This was a bad crowd, matched with hurt, and wounded slaves. Raien could feel what might happen, and that conflict played out to its conclusion might be worth losing all of this work to see what was born of it.

[member="Anastasia Rade"]

"I killed the Graug that stole my childhood. I wouldn't allow them to live to be able to create slave pits again. Slavery no matter how it's done is wrong. I don't propose killing everyone but I know we have jails. There is punishment for such crimes and it's up to the people to decide what those are not me. I'm no ruler." It was clear that Ana was getting a little upset over this whole situation. Slavery didn't bring her to a good place and despite all the training she had Ana couldn't seem to just brush it all aside. "What would you have us to? Turn slaves into salvors? Isn't that still slavery?" She almost growled back at him. He was very close to her now but Ana wasn't about to back down. She would stand up for herself and the people since they didn't seem to have their own voice. Ana may be Force sensitive but she was first and foremost a Mandalorian. It took a lot to scare her, his armor did not. She might not be geared up but that didn't mean she wouldn't fight him.

The memories of her slavery had been something that she had kept hidden deep within herself. All the anger and hatred she felt during that time in her life was boiling up no matter how she tried to calm down. "I am not running from my past." She yelled angrily at him as she stomped her foot to the ground. "I survived what happen to me and have learned to move forward. Make a life for myself beyond what happened. They can do." Ana was beginning to lose focus and why was she even bothering by talking to him. She waved at the slaves as she tried speaking.

Turning from the Sith Spawn she headed towards the cages. If you wanted something done, it was clear that she had to do it herself. She was hoping to lead by example. Cages were not needed. Ana wanted these people to see that and as she turned around they could see them inching forward.

As she got closer she could see some men and former slaves blocking the way. Ana felt for the former slaves and couldn't blame them. She felt like this herself once.
