Smuggling Affair

Coruscant
It was an average day on the city world of Coruscant.. Airspeeders, city transports, light freighters and many other ships glistened the skies. Along with that in the streets of the massive sprawling cities, the usual daily commerce took place, with merchants and civilians haggling over prices of local goods in the vendors, With the sprawling towers stretching across the skies it painted a beautiful painting across the sky of a utopian city. Though, below these luxury skyscrapers which lined Coruscant laid an underworld full of the lowest of the low. In this underworld only the strongest and smartest could survive as it was polluted with the worst kind of gangs, criminals, smugglers, bounty hunters and other forms of scum and villainy. Though with all of this negativity, it did give off lots of opportunities to anyone who could find the right way.
Though, as this was a normal day for most people on the city world, it was not for a young girl who called the underworld surprisingly her home. Karina Pritchett, had always been a scavenger and orphan in the city, living of whatever she could find in the city, having to defend for herself. Though as she began to grow up she became a smuggler, finding it to be a fruitful business to earn a living for the time being. Though throughout her time being a smuggler with all the wealth she gained, another thing she earned.. was enemies. After some recent events too, the local crime lord in her area had set quite a large bounty on her head, to be taken out of the picture dead or alive.
"There.. that's everything, 5 tons of Rock Ivory" As Karina had dropped of the finale shipment of Rock Ivory to the buyer. "Ahh.. Thank you young Karina, you never let me down..", the buyer would hand her the credit chip and begin walking off.. though strangely activating a small beacon which would also light up the credit chip, which by this time would have been in Karina's pocket. Karina would begin heading to her apartment in the lower city which she had only recently purchased. As Karina finally arrived in the house she would prepare a meal, and head off to bed slipping off to bed after finishing her food.

Never Underestimate a Good Bottle of Whiskey
Kerx walked around the underworld of Coruscant. Wherever he went, he was feared. He could feel it. Everywhere he turned, everyone looked the same. Dirty and mucky. This was truly a place for the homeless. A lawless underworld controlled by the most ruthless of thugs, gangs, and hutts. Kerx enjoyed it. After all, he is going to enjoy it much more once he gets his bounty in. The target was some girl that a mafia leader needs blah blah blah. It was all the same to him. But, this one was different. The bounty said that this girl had: Powers of some sorts. This made the hunter a bit on edge but nothing too bad.

His cybernetic eye surveyed the area and only caught two animals scurrying to enjoy scraps they found. Kerx gave a loud sigh.

I better get paid some good credits for this job.

The crime lord said that he would get a signal on this girl, whatever that meant at the time. Word has it she is going to be tracked from an outside source and the bounty hunter will know her exact location to finish the job. It wasn't until a few more minutes of walking around that he finally got a lead. The datapad the crime lord gave Kerx started beeping. He took it out and behold there was a green dot moving across the underworld. He knew exactly where she was.

She was not far off, so Kerx can catch up with time to spare. He looked in front of him and behind him. Nobody was to be seen. He started to sprint with his hand taking out his blaster pistol. He breathed heavily, but tried to stay quiet. He wanted the element of surprise on his side. He didn't want to know what kind of "Powers" his target had.

As he neared the green dot, he looked up and saw a girl walk into a building. He halted and walked slowly, with his pistol now tucked into his coat. His breathing was calm and steady. If he ran into any threats, he knew what to do.

He sauntered into the building and noticed an ugly looking alien yelling at him to either buy a room or get out. Maybe credits will work with it.

"Take this and stay quiet."

Kerx threw the alien a few credits and the figure ceased to talk any further. Kerx went up the stairs, trying to stay as low and hidden as possible from his target. A minute passed and he saw the girl walk into a room.

Must be their home. Let's give them a welcoming party, shall we?

The hunter took out his blaster pistol and held it to the sky. He winded his cybernetic hand back and punched into the door with all of his force. As a result, there was now a hole in the big slab of door. He took it out and punched more and more until he could grab it and take the whole thing out.

The element of surprise was now well gone by now. He had to play smart and plan his every move accordingly.
