Smooth Criminal

"As you can see, the deal is too sweet on your end to pass up ain't it?"

"Haha, your people always funny, always overconfident in what they do me thinks."

"Well, alright if you don't want more space to expand your profits, I'll take my deals to the Syndicate."

"What makes you think I'll let you out of here alive?"

"I could ask you the same; Hutt."

The talk on this deal was going dreadfully slow and it required a lot more patience than she usually exercised. It was nothing more than a cycle, she would get a little closer to sealing the deal each time. However, each time it would only be passed off by a sarcastic comment or a slight threat to test the waters. One had to stay on their feet, she was not yet still confident she could take down everyone in this dark cellar like ominous room. The darkness sooth her as if her connection to the dark side by extension brought the shadows with her. Each movement hard or very hard to see, but sometimes in a dire situation each move count. She had to walk a tight rope with these Hutts and other slavers and thugs. No force user was well liked around these parts since the Shadow wars, Kiara took part in that war as well. She was with Vexas at the diplomatic debates and on the field when the action transpired.

"You see, but what your asking for is too much me thinks"

"But are the rewards not worth it, or do you all assume to waste my time. I came to everyone here because we all want something and are willing to do whatever to get it. Or are we not, is this not a room full of the galaxy's best slavers and criminals. And not only am I offering air space within our space and your more space than you can manage now when we return in dominance."

"But who's to say you and your kind will return to power, maybe they're are some who believe it is our time to rise"

"Yes, maybe we take your idea and put ourselves on top."

A darkness clouded the already shadowed room, but a feeling of oppression was in the air. Even those, not sensitive to the force would feel it's effect and succumb to it's sheer weight. Eyes shifted uncomfortably at others through-out the room. Kiara sat in her elevated seat still not having moved a muscle to display any anger or malice but her sheer presence now unsettling around her. Sure, everyone would not be effected by this but it would suffice for what she needed.

"Do you really think I'm a fool enough to have told you a tenth of my true plan, with or without your cooperation my plan will play out and when it does I think you will want to be on my side"

"One wonders whether to call your bluff or not."

A lightsaber sprang from Kiara's robes arcing perfectly into the goggled Rodian's throat. As suddenly as the action occurred was as suddenly that her saber disappeared back within her robes. Her eyes slightly tinted with red, as she only briefly but deeply used her dark side connection to the force to efficiently exterminate her problem.

"One second, one second was all it took to end this man. Before, you speak up remember while I will listen but that all it takes at the end of the day is one second.

"Eh, I take it negotiations are at their climax now then.

The bosses and leaders of several different sects of organized crime also dealing with slaving conferred with each other. Kiara idly tapped her fingernails against the soft but durable leathers that the chair she was sitting it was wrapped in waiting for their answer. She didn't want to think of what she would do if she had came all the way here risking her own safety for naught. She was asking for ten percent of their slaves for her and her 'enterprises' crusades construction project. If she was successful in these dealings she would then only need a proper setting for them to work and bring about her goals.

" We agree, but you better follow up on you end of the bargain when this is over or you won't like the next time you see us."

"Save it for people who actually fear you, and trust me I know true fear

As Kiara stood up from her seat readying herself to leave, a feeling of sheer terror washed over the room this feeling stronger than the last. Kiara with a coy smile, walked out of the cellar like room and after la long corridor ended up in an alley. She stepped out of the alley pulling her black fur coat around her body, she wore a long elegant dress with black fur robes over them. She looked around her lighting up a cigar before slowly walking down the platform blending into normal society.

Taleen waited in an alley for Kiara to join her. Taleen had wished to see how her new teacher had dealt with the underbelly of the galaxy, but was told by Kiara that she did not the have the 'delicate touch' needed for such meetings. Taleen believed after a few spears and lightning spells they would be eating out of her hands, but apparently Kiara thought little force and much words were a better way to deal with things. She took Kiara's lead for now, but thought Kiara's technique would not work on Dathomir. Finally Taleen saw her walk out and light another of those smoke sticks. Taleen wondered how one could get addicted to lighting a fire on one's self, but did not ask.

"That was an impressive display you put out there." Taleen started, referencing Kiara's display of shadow magic. "I take it your new underlings realized their place?"

As she ssauntered about the streets, Ventasia took in the sights around her. Though, there really wasn't much to be seen. She was on Nar Shadaa, the seediest planet in the galaxy. Filled with smugglers, pirates, and the Hutts. But that was neither here, nor there. She had come to this planet because she was tracking someone. Someone she had needed to speak to. As she walked the streets, her jade-hued eyes pierced each being that walked past her. She had worn a vest with a hood attached, the hood which now rested upon her head. She had wanted to hide herself slightly, so as not to draw too much attention upon her self.

As she continued sauntering about, something caught her attention. With each step, she could feel something. It was the same feeling she had felt during the attack on the Temple. Her eyes narrowed as she strode forward, aware that her target was within reach. Her pace quickened with each step. As she near the alley, she exhaled deeply, her lungs gaining an icy sensation. "She's hear.." Around the corner she pivoted as she entered the alley, her eyes falling on the both the scarlet-haired woman, and odd near crazed-looking dark-haired woman. Slowly Ventasia raised her head, allowing her face to be seen under her hood. "So, this is where you've been hiding."

As Kiara lightly puffed on her cigar a slight smile rose on her face which spurred from a sense of accomplishment and amusement that the young jedi from the temple attack had found her. She found herself walking deliberately slow to allow her to believe Kiara hadn't been aware of his presence. Regarding her young witch Taleen she spoke "I think today will be a good day for me to teach you some of the more advanced techniques. And yes they have for now, as all fools will they will transpire amongst their selves and eventually will be killed and replaced."

Kiara allowed herself to laugh as she gestured to her rather lavish attire before saying. "I would hardly say hiding little one." She said deliberately teasing the woman. She continued her stroll leading them both toward the Refugee Sector nearby. They were currently on a long walkway to the turbolifts that would take them to their destination. "I presume your done wasting your time with the weakness that is the Jedi Order?" Kiara asked as if she didn't care while she passed by the seemingly endless waves of various sentient and non-sentient beings alike.

Ventasia simply watched as overdressed woman sauntered past her. Her hazel eyes traced the woman's frame even as she strolled past her, with the witch in tow. Trust wasn't something that came naturally to her, and this was no different. This was the same one she found deep in the Temple during to assault. Surely she didn't expect her to suddenly consider her a close acquaintance. Without showing much of any emotion through her eyes, she tracked both the witch and the Sith. Staying a few feet behind the two as they departed the alley.

As they paced along the streets of the crime-ridden planet, Ventasia's arms crossed over her stomach near her hips. The strategic placement of her arms left her hand just centimeters from her blaster which rested on her hip, as it always did. "Where I stand with the Jedi doesn't concern you. Your only worry, should be me."

"Worry? I assure you that is an emotion that hasn't been needed for quite sometime. When you reach the level I have and began to see where you could be; you learn to not worry about anything. In truth Kiara keep her force presence monitoring Vena for any type of attack. However, she couldn't devote her full attention to such things because if she hadn't broken her connection to the Jedi their was a good chance that Jedi were lurking.

"Well it's a shame you still cling on to their weak teaching but I digress. Anyways, were almost at our location." She said casually further bolstering the since that she wasn't worried about anything. With a few more steps they found themselves at a windw view of the Refugee Sector. Her eyes found themselves drawn to Vena but she wouldn't speak on what she thought, no telling which way Vena swung. And Kiara had the nagging feeling that even if something desirable did occur that Vena would do so under the premise of manipulating her.

Manipulation in a Jedi was actually laughable, she already was tip toeing down a darker path and she didn't even know. She instead turned her attentions to a quarrel going on below, it seemed as if three Refugee's were beating a guy senseless below them. It wason this sight thst Kiara began to speak. "You see the force can acheive anything when you have the strength and resolve to use it. Look at that man below, alone he has no chance of surviving. However, like always their is the force.[/color]" She began to sing a light tune as her Magic's went to work, they wrapped their cold fury-like embrace around the beaten many.

His flesh already began to mend under the dark side's influence, and with a push she inspired strength into his will. The man screamed sending them back on their backs, and he stood up quickly as if the beating had never happened. Kiara could have ended it their cause she could feel the gang wanted to run as soon as they found themselves upon their feat. But she took a small but relatively large amount of her own supressed rage and sent it into the man who proceeded to quite gruesomely slaughter the group with his bare hands.

Turning toward Vena she spoke once more saying "Now you will learn this, however because of your own confidence I expect much more. I want you to turn this whole part of the Sector into an uprising." With that said Kiara casually leaned against the wall and looked below with almost a child-like interest on how things would fare.

"Cling is hardly a word I'd use." Watching Kiara had proved easy. Discerning her true intentions, however, was proving to be a task she couldn't complete. She had no choice remaining, but to rely on her eyes. Suffice to say, she didn't like that part of the equation.

As Kiara stopped, Ventasia walked up a bit, joining at the window as both down over the sector full of refugees. It wasn't hard for Ventasia to feel Kiara's eyes watching her. Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. For those you don't know, keep them the closest. At least, that was what she believed to be going through Kiara's mind. Her hazel eyes caught the sight of a male taking a rather savage beating. As the words from her lips drifted into her ears, her continued to watch the male as he seemingly regained life, forcing all three of his oppressors back. Without so much as a blink, Ventasia watched as the male ripped his three attacked limb from limb.

Once the scene came to an end, Ventasia's eyes, found their way to Kiara's frame, her eyes panning about her body from feet to her eyes. Normally, Ventasi'a would find herself quite playful with someone of such...appeal. But this was neither the time, nor the place. She had a reason for being here, and would see to it that her goal be accomplished first, before there was fun to be had.

Ventasia simply blinked as she was informed she was to cause a near riot in the sector, seemingly out of nowhere. "And how do you expect me to do that? I don't sing songs. And I certainly can't imbue beings with power as that."

Kiara merely laughed when Ventasia complained on what she was to do. She paced slightly before looking as actually it had dissappointed her how easily Ventasia had given up without trying. For a moment her anger flared and she allowed her full power to leak into Ventasia's perceptions. The sheer darkness that she emboided as well as the souls of those many that she had claimed. Lightning danced around her body for a moment, she stepped only a step closer to Ventasia before speaking.

"Do you think I gained the power I have by saying what I can't do? The singing only helps the magic flow easier, what only matters is your will and your intent behind you will. You already have the force and strongly too, if you didn't I would have killed you at the temple. Now believe your own will and force your will upon these fools or die here before you gain any power at all." Kiara ignited her saber in an almost blurred speed, and she pointed it at Ventasia that would tell her failure was not an option.

As perceptive as she was, even Ventasia didn't see this coming. The woman exuded power, and was not afraid to let it be known. Her eyes followed as she watched the sparks dance about the woman for but a moment. Before she knew it, Kiara had drawn her own saber, the tip pointed towards her. Ventasia's eyes glanced down at the blade before retuning to the woman's eyes. This wasn't the first time she'd had a lightsaber pointed at her, and surely it wouldn't be the last. "You need to relax, and listen rather than hear. I never I couldn't, I said I didn't know how. Secondly.." With a swiftness, Ventasia's hand dropped onto her blaster, yanking it from the holster and raising it to make the barrel eye level with Kiara in one quick, fluid motion. "You want me here more than you lead on, wherever you admit it or not. So, if your going to have the audacity to threaten me, be sure I'm not armed first."

Death wasn't something that the young, flame-haired vixen feared. However, she wasn't going down without a fight.

As the blaster was pulled, a dark thick aura bubbled over wrapping itself her form. She didn't fear the blaster fire because of her dark sided healing but she didn't even want to risk her beauty at all as it was harder to heal completely with the dark side rather than how it is with the light side. She smiled dropping her saber to show how unworried she was about the blaster, but a black almost see through aura began to float before the woman's blaster.

"If you want to ever use your blasters and maybe your hands again I suggest you lower your weapon. Want you? Oh,why would I want someone who gives up without trying, besides I just gave you the steps but you rather argue than learn. Hmmph, your not of any use too me and your will is weak, the path to power will eat you alive." She gave her a look that would tell her she was truly done with her. Moving easily past Ventasia, part of her hoped she'd attack Kiara despite their power difference. Anything to show that she wasn't a hopeless case, however if she was then Kiara would simply have to cut her ties.

"Go back to the Jedi, they love weakness like the weakness you have in you." She said with a heartless malice.

Rebellious Vanguard
Her stood as stone, not flinching in the slightest as the dark miasma hovered in the air. She wasn't dumb. She knew direct fire would have essentially have no affect on someone of her level. But what else was she to do? At this stage, she couldn't hope to match the woman in combat. Yet she wouldn't sit by idly and let her life be threatened. She was a thinking person's fighter. She needed a strategy, and right now, her blaster was all she had at her disposal.

"Don't compare to the Jedi. I'm far different. I'm not going to stand by and let you threaten me. I'll fight back. I pick my spots. That doesn't make me weak, it makes me smart. I get that I have to learn, but if I don't understand, then I don't understand. How about rather than throwing verbal jabs at me, you just explain things. Like someone with a brain would, rather than shoving weapons in my face like an animal. Or.." Her eyes narrowed as the woman turned to walk away. She angled the blaster downward, firing two bolts just in front of Kiara's feet. "We can fight about it?"

Laughter echoed as it just barely escaped Kiara's lips. As the blaster bolts arced toward her feet, they simply bounced off her shield but still the girl seemed to grow a spine out of no where. " Not like the jedi eh? Well let's see how different you are." With that said a sizable amount of energy discharged from her body, sending a shockwave of energy roaring toward Ventasia to potentially send her flying back into the wall. All the while Kiara merely stood their had this been a regular fight she would have done more but she now merely was seeing how far would Ventasia's passions push her. With her force sight she could see Ventasia's aura flaring and the angrier she got she'd simply increase the dark sided corruption's speed inside of her. It was actually interesting to watch it develop while it still needed quite a push; Kiara was almost sure it would take this time.

"Your going to have to do much better than that little one" Kiara said holding both hands apart as if she knew she couldn't be defeated. She only did this because she knew arrogance pissed certain people even more than usual. With a snap of the wrist, she used the force to attempt to rip the blaster from Ventasia's hand.

Rebellious Vanguard
"Try.." Before rhe words could escape her mouth, was thrown back, falling to the floor. She rose to her feet, a snide grin coming across her face. "I'm glad your so eager to die. Let me speed that up for you." Ventasia's blaster rose once more, the barrel pointed directly at Kiara once more. Before she could pull the trigger once more, she felt a sever tug on her blaster. It was as if it was being ripped from her hand. Her grip tightened considerably, causing her arm to shake slightly. It became more than obvious that Kiara was attempting to disarm her.

She held onto the blaster with all she had, her rage seemingly growing with each passing second. Ventasia leaped into the air just enough for her feet to clear the ground. Maintaining her grip on the blaster, pulled both herself and her weapon toward Kiara. Her free hand balled into a fist, pulling her arm back and preparing to strike as she quickly neared the woman's position. As got within range to strike, her smile turned from snide to seemingly happy. "Got ya." Her hand opened, thrusting her palm at Kiara, using the force to try and push her back. Obviously, if it worked, they'd be sent flying in opposite directions. But anything was better than losing to her.

Kiara watched amused as the woman combined the power from her pull and her leap to soar toward her. Kiara had honestly expected her to try a melee attack, however she indeed was tricked when the girl discharged a powerful anger induced force wave. Kiara's feet left the ground as she flew back, slamming into the wall and she allowed her shield to be destroyed. She knew if she simply won while it may do something to enhance Ventasia's anger than allowing her certain victories would inspire better confidence in her abilities. Plus if Ventasia thought she could end Kiara, she push herself harder with each attack.

"Think about the energy collectors and how they store energy and then reuse it. If you wanna survive I suggest you learn fast." And suddenly as she stepped out from the wall she was smiling but it held a hint of happiness not typically seen in Sith as lightning began to thicken in it's dance around Kiara's arms. She merely held a finger out allowing the energy to build up forming a strong single strand of lightning before she released it's purple hue lit up the room as it quickly arced it's way toward Ventasia.

However, Kiara hoped Ventasia didn't think this was it. Oh, no she hadn't even left the basics of battle with a true Sith yet.

Rebellious Vanguard
The smile across her face morphed once more, becoming rather coy as she watched Kiara leave her feet, her own body flying back as well. As her body made contact with the ground, she rolled back and posted her hands on the ground, allowing her to push off and spring to her feet. Her head rose as Kiara spoke, rising to her feet. Never one to admit defeat, Ventasia raised her blaster once more. While Kiara's words made it to her ears, she didn't truly listen. Ventasia was having fun, for the first time in quite some time. And she had no intention of the fun ending to quickly.

Her body stood as stone as the electricity began to dance about Kiara once more, simply watching her. Her eyes widened as the woman pointed a finger in her direction, as a singe bolt of lighting jumped from her hand towards Ventasia. Barely dodging the attack, she dove to the side, tucking and rolling as she hit the ground and ending on one knee. Immediately, she began to release bolt after bolt at Kiara's body for a total of ten. The last three divided; two at her legs, and one at her head. She hid it well, but she was slightly worried as she felt a throbbing pain in her own leg. The attack had grazed her, and if she wasn't careful, it could do much worse.
