OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To Chaos Canonify the Sanctuary which was created on Aurum, and provide a point of interest for the planet, and the Je'daii Order, to be interacted with

    1. This Is Who We Are; Jyn and Ar'ekk discover captive creatures for sale on Nar Shaddaa, and purchase them with the intent of setting them free. They quickly realize that none of the animals have experienced life outside of captivity, and as such the plan to create a Sanctuary is set in motion.

    2. Bring The Wayward Ones Back Home; Jyn reveals the Sanctuary to her estranged Brother, and explains its purpose while showing off one of the creatures they rescued.

    3. The Hawks Circle; The Sanctuary and Research Facility was largely funded by [member='Ar'ekk'], and by association The Hawks Circle. A little positivity to come from what could easily be deemed as a shady operation.

SETTING INFORMATION
  • Structure Name: The Seren-Lorr Sanctuary and Research Facility
  • Classification: The Main Building consists of a Science and Research Complex, which focuses on Biology and Zoology; beyond the main facility, there lies various large animal enclosures which are inconspicuously made to be apart of the Jungle.
  • Location: Aurum
  • Affiliation: [member='Jyn Sol'], [member='Ar'ekk'], The Je'daii Order, Anil Kesh
  • Accessibility: Both the Complex and the Enclosures are kept separate from the main hub of activity on Aurum, held within the Jungles which flank the great City of Azar. The enclosures are patrolled, and covered with CCTV, which make it difficult for anyone to simply approach it without consequence, with various layers of security in place to open the actual enclosures themselves. The Complex requires relevant documentation to access, mostly accommodating just its workforce and those who have been pre-screened and cleared for access. Neither are truly open to the public, though the enclosures can be visited if arranged in advanced, and only with the presence of one of the Sanctuary Keepers. This is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the animals, and to keep them from becoming too distressed.
  • Security: Various layers of access codes required in order to access the enclosures themselves. Active patrols to ensure anybody not pre-screened doesn't get too close to the enclosures, with CCTV also present throughout the jungle leading to the enclosures. The Complex itself features privatized guards at all hours of the day, keycards for workforce use, as well as CCTV and security alarms in place to help prevent unwanted access. Given its obscurity, and that of the world itself, it is not as well protected as many research facilities, though the large presence of Je'daii who study within it as part of Anil Kesh (the Temple of Science) adds another layer of security.
