Special Features:
  • Repulse Nodes
  • Powercell
  • Fingerless(These make you cooler)

Strengths:
  • Repulse: The technology of the Repulse Glove that Slevin built is at its simplest a version of the quite common Repulse-hand utilized by some cyborgs in the galaxy. The differences are two fold. First, this is a glove and thus does not require one to lose their hand in order to operate. The second is a question of power. The Repulse glove as designed by Slevin utilizes blaster powerpacks in order to charge the repulse nodes located across the knuckles as well as the palm of his hand, this gives the repulse glove an added kick but also limits its use. This added kick means that a punch from the repulse glove hurts more than the blow of a repulse hand. It is able to rend flesh, break bones, and deal a tremendous amount of kinetic damage. Like a regular repulse-hand it is also capable of deflecting melee attacks.
Weaknesses:
  • Limited Use: The Repulse glove utilizes the charge of a blasters powerpack, this means that the weapon can only be used so many times before it needs to be reloaded. This generally depends on the amount it's used and how powerful the bursts coming from it are, but most often ten minutes of continued use stretch the powerpack to its limits(15 uses IC).

Description:
Slevin Thawne has a penchant for violence.

He is a fit man, trained, capable of fighting like many others in The Underworld. Unlike others within the crimina syndicates of the galaxy however Slevin has a distaste for the general impersonal nature of blasters. He finds Sonics, disruptors, and regular blasters to be entirely uncouth and uncultured, seeing them as little more than play toys for those who aren't capable of raising their own two hands. For him, Blasters are a means to an end, but they certainly aren't something that should be coveted.

For Slevin, there is no greater achievement than besting someone with his own two fists.

As he and Natalia traipsed into the galaxy however a realization came to him.

In the grand scheme of things, with Mandalorians, armored Jedi, and tank like Sith, the young Crime Lord realized that his own two hands simply wouldn't do. Though he was strong, many around him were simply too afraid to move unprotected. As such, he began to toy with an idea to stop such nonsense. In his sleepless nights Slevin began to create what would eventually become his gloves, simple design, though painfully effective. They were based off of a technology he had seen used before, the infamous Repulse-Hand.

The weapon was excruciatingly effective, capable of rending flesh and breaking bone even when the latter was hidden behind armor. This beautiful sight inspired Slevin, and thus he created his gloves. The devices were not anything unique, not really anyway, he simply tore apart several pairs of Repulse-hands and wired them effortlessly through a carbo-plast construct on a pair of armorweave gloves, he then wired each glove to a powersource and plugged in a regular powerpack.

The gloves are by no means and engineering marvel, but they are brutally effective in what they were designed to do.

Slevin's gloves act like a repulse-hand, each glove containing sixe repulse emitters total. Five on each knuckle and one on the palm. Each of these repulsers are capable of giving out the same amount of energy as a standard Repulse-hand, making the weapons bursts incredibly powerful. When used in combat the gloves are incredibly powerful, and when a punch is landed are capable of opening gaping wounds and breaking bones. When striking an armored foe the gauntlets repulsors kick in and carry over their kinetic strike as any other extremely hard hitting impact, causing blaunt trauma damage with excruciating force.

Similarly to the Repulse-hand the Gloves are also capable of using their repulsors to parry attacks, capable of utilizing precise timing to throw away oncomming blades, fists, and even lightsabers.

As the miniature repulsorlift engines have a "range", which may be incredibly small or not, could you please utilize the Ranged Weapon template to better clear up the functions of this glove?

But its not ranged?

Its based on technology that literally only works within touch gap. I wouldn't sub a pair of lightshield gauntlets under ranged even though they technically emit a field 4-5cm away from the actual glove.

A light shield would be subbed as a melee weapon and armor.

If not a ranged weapon, this should be a melee weapon.

And that is only if these only work when physically touching the target. Otherwise I need to see a range displaying how many centimeters it effects from the glove.

But thats how it works.

The original technology is touch based. Like the hand touches/punches its target and the repuslor kicks in and does its work ripping flesh/breaking bones.

Can you please add the melee weapon template pieces which are missing?
