So, I realize as far as military strategy goes, my word holds little to no weight. However, I'd like to make my opinion known.

As you all know, the doms are finishing up. Soon, the invasions will begin. I would like to voice my opinion on where we should invade.

Borleias: By taking this planet, we will both eliminate a pub territory right on our borders, but we will also eliminate that "stream" of territory the pub owns leading up to Sith territory.

Commenor: There is another, larger "stream" of territory leading up almost to the OP. By taking Commenor, we slice off this stream from the main body of our enemy, so then we can conquer the rest of this "stream."

Manaan: By taking the two previous mentioned territories, plus Manaan, we form a "shield" of sorts on the easternmost border of imperial space.

I hope whoever decides this kind of thing takes my viewpoint into consideration.

A noble and ambitious strategy indeed! Though I doubt it will be implemented for some time, given the exhausting toll this event has cost our members. Though perhaps I'm wrong! And we're only beginning to build up steam. However, since we've already invaded Manaan before, people may not be as interested in trying to take it, do you perhaps have a nearby alterntive?

From my understanding of both factions in this war, after a year that's started with three invasions and an event on top of that, no-one wants to jump right back into invasions. I think the thing most present on the minds of all is a break. Time to recharge and train, time to prepare for what we all know is going to happen anyway.

I suggest one month after the end of the event, minimum. Your suggestions, however, are surely noted.

Most people will want a break before heading into any invasions. 97% of those Dominions were done by the same people for two weeks straight...and we have three more to complete by March 31st. I can't speak for the rest (Jedi/Pubs included)...but I need a break. I have other investments I like to work on atm involving my character.

As for Manaan...it wasn't to long ago we invaded the watery planet and won. Plus Darth Hauntress has the crusades in the works.

Also, I would like to note, that eliminating the world Telti, will actually cut off that entire Republic stream blocking us from the south. Manaan invasion is not a necessity, to make a crippling blow. Additionally, Telti is a droid construction facility, and is a moon without atmosphere, so ground forces trying to take the facility would have to fight in enclosed domes which I think would be cool.

You also have to keep in mind that Invasions are HUGE, and take up a HUGE amount of time. Three invasions is not very reasonable within a reasonable amount of time.

However, if you did want to make that "shield" you spoke of, the most effective means of doing that would be to strike Telti, and Kiribi. Granted, Kiribi has little to no information, but we could ask the guys over at the republic to develop it into something substantial to provide for an interesting story, by utilizing the lore section. We could also contribute by making species live on it, and develop a real culture to give us all (One Sith and Republic alike) some kind of emotional attachment over it in order to motivate us to win!

I agree, Kiribi would be much more reasonable than Borleias. Telti would be a little more of a risk, as it is a little deeper into pub territory. However, the risk would certainly pay off, as well as serve as a good location to begin an offensive front to Onderon, among other locations.

You're right, nobody is going to want to begin invasions yet. I entirely understand everyone participating in doms will want a break. Just wanted to put a few ideas on the table, that's all
