Force Sensitives are highly valued on the Black Market. And large species who are useful as brutes and manual labor are also in high demand. Beorni represent both qualities, with a rarity that brings collectors to the slave auctions. Skuli isn't even sure if he was born on Midvinter or not. His earliest memory is of Demophon, where he was put up for sale by to G'uotr Network. He was originally purchased by the Corellian Exchange, who had hoped to turn him for a profit by selling him to the spice mines on Sevarcos. However, Sevarcos' arid climate was ill-suited for a species adapted to frozen tundra and the Corellians instead found a buyer by the Craygalon Marauders who used the Beorni's strength for their work in seizing ships and then breaking them down for parts.
