Rationale: Skel Medical Technologies was founded by the already budding entrepreneur Gezes Skel, with a combination of extensive goverment grants supplied by the Polis Massa Ruling Council, and his own personal wealth. Through this supply of money, Gezes Skel was able to have a decent-sized factory located in Wiyentaah, as well as an office there to serve as it's headquarters. The original intent for Skel Medical Technologies was to provide medical supplies an technology to the extensive medical centers of Polis Massa, in order for the astroid to stop relying on inports from other planets for the equipment to one of their most common trades. Although, Skel intends to eventually expand in company in to the greater galaxy. One day, Skel Medical Technologies will be a common name with it's logo printed in all major hospitals galaxy-wide.

The company currently can not afford galaxy-wide shipping and advertisements, therfore only operates on the astroid Polis Massa, providing medical equipment for the astroid's extensive medical centers. The company intends to soon expand it's wares in to other medical-related products, such as smaller equipment, and bacta. Although, in order to do so, they would require sufficient funds, therfore the company is always looking for pottential investors. With no other major (PC) medical corporations in the greater galaxy, the people of Polis Massa belive this new company will soon expand across the galaxy, and gain footholds in nearly every sector.
Due to it's insufficient starting funds, Skel Medical Technologies could only afford a decent sized factory, and a small office building to begin their budding company with. The office, located in Wieyntaah, Polis Massa, is a small building containing the office of CEO Gezes Skel, as well as the offices in charge of expansion, advertisement, product creation, and staff management. Even though the current staff of Skel Medical Technologies is minimal, and the company is small at the moment, it has all the recourses needed to grow quickly. The single factory owned by Skel Medical Technologies is droid-operated, manned by a select chosen few of Polis Massan over-seers who watch over the droid workers. With each of the ten assembly lines within the factory manned by a specially programmed team of droids, made specifically to create the product they are building, the factory pumps out large amounts of the various products of Skel Medical Technologies daily.
