SithFire Grenades (SFG-01) are short-range, single-use incendiary devices designed for harassment, ambushes, and morale warfare. The outer shell is a reinforced durasteel canister with a ceramic inner liner to produce shrapnel and to modulate burn dispersal. The payload combines a stabilised, obsidian-tinted alchemical resin — a simple ritual compound blended with Nathema's powdered ichor/ash and local volatile organics — and a shock-sensitive catalyst sealed in micro-vials.

On impact the fuze ruptures the micro-vial, mixing catalyst with the resin and ash; the chemical reaction is accelerated by a compact mechanical ignitor. The resin does not burn like normal ordinance of it's kind. Instead it produces a high-temperature violet flame whose spectral qualities (luminosity and scent) are the result of the alchemical bind. Flames cling briefly to fabric and vegetation, and the residue contains trace compounds that jam short-range biosensors and can cause disorientation in weaker Force-sensitives (temporary; not reliable against seasoned Force users).

Designed to be made and field-assembled in jungle or frontier conditions, the SFG-01 trades long-term persistence for immediacy and terror. It excels in tight spaces (caverns, corridors, palisades) and as a tool to flush hidden foes. It is poor as a sustained area-denial weapon in open terrain, and dangerous to use in enclosed spaces without careful planning (risk of self-injury and contamination).
