You don't need a rank title to RP as one thing or another. You're perfectly fine RPing your acquisition of Sith Powers in the first 50 posts of your character. I'd recommend looking into the One Sith or Sith Triumvirate factions. The former is more chaotic/neutral while the latter is more lawful, depending on your slice of life. Both have some good members and activity and can find you a master and help get your feet on the ground.
