Intent: To create a lightweight stealth suit for the Sith Assassins.

Development Thread:

Manufacturer: Kalor Tech

Model: Assassin Armor

Affiliation: Sith Assassins

Modularity:

  • Forearm Bracers can be replaced with the Sith Hidden Blade.
  • Bes'kar armor is optional.
  • Coloring, hood, cloak, and overall design can be changed to fit a persons unique style.

Production: Minor

Material:

  • Bes'kar: Located as the bracers, shin guards, and chest plate underneath the cloth.
  • Shell Spider Silk: General cloth throughout the suit.
  • Terentatek Leather: Located as an extra layer under the hood.
  • Corellian Leather: Layered throughout the suit.
  • Personal Stealth Unit: Built in throughout the suit, rather than in one place.
Classification: Multipurpose

Weight: 7 kg.

Quality: 6

Special Features:

Strengths:
  • Bes'kar offers protection from small to medium blaster fire as well as some resistance to lightsaber strikes.
  • Bes'kar is light, and the small amount of plating keeps the suit light.
  • Shell Spider Silk offers some protection from small arms fire and vibroswords.
  • Terentatek Leather in the hood allows the wearer to keep his surface thoughts from leaking out for others to read, and help against light mind attacks.
  • Personal Stealth Unit: Renders the user invisible, but proper training is needed to move about without disrupting the field.
Weaknesses:
  • The Bes'kar is not of Mandalorian standard, making it weaker then even simple Mandalorian armor.
  • The entire body suit is not covered in the metal, leaving the joints exposed to heavier blaster fire.
  • The Terentatek leather has to be worn over the head to help protect the mind. If the hoods down, it doesn't protect.
  • The Stealth Unit does not work if the user is under trained and moving to quickly. Even as it stealth however, it still shows a slight bend in the light, and those trained can see it.
  • The Stealth Unit is electronic, meaning an EMP or something similar can short it out and stop it from working.
Description:

With the Assassins working from the shadows within enemy territory, a suit of armor was needed to keep them hidden and keep them alive in case they were found. Thus, Ferus commissioned for such a suit. Made from Shell Spider Silk, Terentatek Leather, Bes'kar, and Corellian Leather it was designed to be stylish and show ranking within the Assassin Order.

The suit, while not meant to blend in by itself, is equip with a stealth generator built throughout the suit. This allows the user to hide literally anywhere, but training is needed to move quickly while in stealth. Bes'kar, the most protective material of the suit, is not refined in the way Mandalorians can do, leaving it weaker then a Mandalorians armor. However, this does not mean the material is weak, and can still take a beating. It rests as a chest piece, and covers the upper arm, lower arm, upper legs, and lower legs. It does not cover the joints. These armor pieces can be removed depending on the user preference, as some Assassins prefer no metal to some metal, to full metal.

Shell Spider Silk, a personal favorite for Ferus, can assist with small arm fire and vibroblades, but it can easily be shredded by heavier firepower and lightsabers. The Corellian leather is built in for comfort, and doesn't offer much protection save for a slight cushioning from impacts.

Finally, the Terentatek leather has been alchemized to help protect the wearers mind from outside attack, as well as keep their thoughts hidden. This won't stop someone who presses hard against the mind, and the leather offers no physical resistance.

There is a need for a personal stealth unit. As such, it has become a bounty for anyone within the assassins to complete. A prize will be given based on what the person who does the challenge wants.

Good luck.
