Sins of the Father (open)

Thraishe landed on his home-planet of Thyrsus, now mostly deserted after the annihilation of the Sun Guard, in search of something. His deserted hometown was now home to many animals and birds. He walked through the broken streets toward where his father had told him that his ancestors lived, a large mansion at the very end of the street. Thraishe never personally lived on Thyrsus due to the fact that when Thraishe was born, Thyrsus was barren and inhospitable. For good reason too. Thraishe had picked up on his life support sensors that in the bombardment of Thyrsus, the Empire had released a chemical to kill any life on the planets surface. Well the chemical had an adverse effect on the animals, and they mutated into larger, more feral creatures.

"Why did I come here, dad..." Thraishe said to himself.

He only had about 4 hours till he'd start to lose consciousness and eventually succumb to the poisonous air, so he had to look relatively quickly. Thraishe opened the large double doors to the mansion and stepped in through the threshold. The stench of animal feces and carcasses almost overcame him, but he pressed on. There was a reason his father appeared to him in a dream and told him to "come home" but he wasn't sure why yet.

Thraishe walked up the stairs and into a child's room, where he saw a stuffed Rancor on the ground next to the bed. He rifled through the drawers. Nothing but a few rotted clothing items. He continued into the next room, presumably a living area, but alas, nothing worthwhile. It was in the master bedroom where he found something of worth-a decorative sword which hung from the wall.

"I hope this wasn't it," Thraishe sighed as he walked out of the room and back down the hall.

He had missed a room and stepped inside it. It was obviously a guest room with nothing much inside, save for a a small chest on the bed. Thraishe walked over and tried to open it. It wouldnt budge. Great. Now he'd have to take it back with him.

Thraishe walked down the steps and looked into the dining area to see a picture of three men, all dressed in their Sun Guard armor. What a memory. He took it and plodded out the main doors out into the wild streets...
