Greta's advance to the ranks of the Sith had prompted her with a list of needs and wants. Having a lightsaber of her own was always something that she wanted with a passion. For too long, she had seen them used, and now with the force awakened within her, it made perfect sense to complete her ascension to the Sith ranks with the iconic weapon of the order. The acolyte had made the journey along with her master to the moon of Phaegon III, where the master and apprentice duo had achieved their mission of getting the ore required for the crafting of the Lignan crystal. The crystal would be specially crafted to show a orange-red blade when ignited, differing her saber from the usual crimson, yet still retaining some aspects of it in the hue.
The saber's design was designed to be practical yet look good at the same time. The design was painstakingly developed and executed by Greta along with much needed and appreciated help from her master and fellow One Sith technicians and craftsmen. Built without dimetris circuits, the blade would not short out when it comes into contact with Cortosis. It also utilizes a bifurcating cyclical-ignition pulse, allowing it to work underwater. To protect the weapon from unauthorised use, a biometric pressure grip was installed to make it useless to anyone but her.
