Modularity: Singularity's Droid frame was designed for 100% modularity. However do to the unique designs of his circuitry and computer components; each replacement part must be made to his schematics. Any new technology/augmentation must be reverse-engineered and restructured to his droid frame.

Strengths:

-Self-Augmentation- His programming allows him to upgrade himself as he learns new technology.

-Emotional Programming- Singularity has been programmed with emotions and has begun to develop a personality.

-Versatility- His programming grants him very broad but currently limited knowledge.


Strengths/Weaknesses:

-Containment Protocols- He has been installed with advanced security protocols that prevent him from either remotely/directly accessing the holonet and other technology. These same security protocols have counter-measures that help prevent Singularity from being accessed in this way from an outside source. (He has to physically use terminals, datapads, etc.)


Weaknesses:

-High-Maintenance- Do to the uniqueness of his design; any broken/malfunctioning parts have to be custom made to accommodate him. Adjustments/Alterations to these parts must be made when necessary to maintain compatibility with upgrades/augmentations.

-Ignorant- Singularity believes he has; for the most part; managed to come to grips with his own emotions. He has made little progress when it comes to the thought patterns, behaviors, and emotions of organic lifeforms.



APPEARANCE: Singularity's tall, thin droid frame stands at 6' high and ways 245 lbs. His metal frame is colored mostly black,grey and silver; with hits of gold. His optical receptors; as well as a few other sources of his frame glow with a faint bluish/purple glow.

Bio:
Singularity is an amalgam of two experimental programs.

The first project was assigned the task of creating a completely new class of droid artificial intelligence. One that had fewer restrictions and was able to fully integrate an emotion sub-matrix; allowing the a.i. the ability to learn, grow, and adapt; to develop a personality and a form of true intelligence. Through trial and error with prior versions it found the a.i. became unstable if it grew and developed to fast. Programming counter-measures were put in place to prevent that from happening.

The second project was originally in development for a private military organization. They were given the goal of developing a droid that was able to freely upgrade and adapt itself to each mission; maximizing its potential to complete its assigned duties. The droid was also to be able to perform self-maintenance and repair. However, do to the unique design of the droid and the costs of replacement materials, the private organization eventually decided that the droid was to high-maintenance and cost intensive; declining to renew the contract. The project lost its funding and was combined with the first program where; jointly; they completed development of the experimental droid.

Do to budgetary constraints and having become to costly, the project was shutdown before any improvements to the prototype could be made. The parent company decided that all assets were to were to be auctioned off to recoup as much as possible. Before that could happen, a computer virus "accidentally" got loose in tech labs systems and the droid was "misplaced".
