  Once a brilliant scientist within the Galactic Alliance, Doctor Sindel Krymer was conscripted into Mandalorian service after the research vessel he was stationed aboard was lost in space during an expedition to study spacefaring species. Official records show that all hands were lost and that there were no survivors.
  
  While Sindel does not empathize with the Mandalorians' cause despite their rescue of him, his liberation from the constraints of conventional practices and 'rules' has granted him the opportunity to conduct much more unethical and experimental research.
  
  His pursuit of knowledge is something to be admired. His means of achieving it, however, is something to be feared.​

  Sindel is skilled in a number of scientific fields, more specifically in the areas of chemistry, biology, and virology.
  
  Though he is not traditionally trained (yet) in the ways of Mandalorian combat ethics and practices, Sindel does have some experience from his time as a medic in the Galactic Alliance's military. He may not be as skilled as other combat veterans, he is no greenhorn either, and knows his way around the battlefield enough to not need a babysitter.
  
  His expertise lies with his ability to deliver relief or excruciating pain when up close and personal to patients and foes alike, and his use of technology helps to supplement his methods. He is just as eager to torture a person for research purposes as he is for vital intel.​

  He presents himself as an intelligent, empathetic and prideful individual on the surface, but beneath the civil exterior lies a complete and utter sociopath, obsessed with his studies regardless of how harmful they can be. His time spent amongst academics within the Galactic Alliance was all simply a means to expand his knowledge and fund his research in secret.
  
  Now without the Galactic Alliance to hold him back, he is free to pursue his experiments and research as he pleases.
