City Wealth Analysis |
Sitting upon vast veins of Moonstone, Silver, White Sapphires, and even Kyber Crystals, the wealth of Silverhold is nearly immeasurable with some of the most lucrative mines and claims resting beneath the city or dotted upon the landscape around the city proper. Much of the wealth of Silverhold is secured in vast vaults in the city before being shipped under heavily armed transports to the Capital of Moonstone. In fact, much of the wealth of the Moon of Selun itself is attributed to the vast, rich veins of minerals, ores, and gemstones located beneath the Floating City. |
City Stability Analysis |
Silverhold has recently experienced a boom as new veins have been discovered as hidden forgotten structures uncovered in the depths; all developments have led to an influx of populace to the city. This has placed a strain on the already stretched system, so much so that criminal elements have begun to slip through the cracks. It has only been due in part to the newly arrived and establishment of Selunite Watch Outposts and Fortifications that the City of Silverhold hasn't fallen to anarchy, despotism, and criminal violence. |
Freedom and Oppression Analysis |
The City is the final bastion and stronghold of the Guilds that had previously reigned over and ultimately sought to bleed the Moon of Selun dry leaving its people in the dust. The newly established Ruling Council has a heavier presence and hand in the City of Silverhold, though still remains largely hands-off when it comes to the populace and their daily lives and how they go about those lives. Weights and Measurements are strictly regulated and maintained to prevent any kind of embezzlement from returning least it ravages the people of Selun again; the newly arrived Selunite Watch has begun to crack down on any criminal elements within Silverhold to further secure its vast resources. |
Description |
A vast mining town that spans a mighty chasm at the foot of the Spine of the World mountains, its structures build upon and into the sides. Floating islands, both large and small, are kept aloft via repulsor lift engines, while flexible walkways connect these islands to the expanse of buildings on each side. It is from Silverhold that much of the wealth of the Capital flows, its miners delving deep into the chasm and bringing out White Sapphires, Moonstone, and even Kyber Crystals. To maintain its investment and its wealth, the Capital has placed a permanent Security Force garrison in the city to keep order in the region, even as criminal elements from the nearby City of Underdark seek to creep in and skim from the wealth that is produced in the vast mines beneath Silverhold. |

Burrow Town |
![]() |
Located beneath the glimmering City Center and its floating islands, broad avenues, and manicured flora is the truth behind the wealth of Silverhold. For many, their lives are one of poverty, hard work, and back-breaking toil in the mines of Silverhold. Those that call Burrow Town their home seek to ensure that their children have better lives, though this often ends in tragedy in the mines below, only perpetuating the cycle further as the poor are trapped in the dark. Crime has become rampant in Burrow Town, as the influence of Underdark has begun to establish a foothold, and the heavy hand of the Selunite Watch has forced the remaining criminal elements from the City Center into the regions below. |
