[Silver Jedi Mission] It's a Nightmare!

Tenel held up a hand to keep the dust from getting in her eyes as she exited the ship. She jumped down from the bay doors and landed in the sand in front of the caves, getting a grasp on her surroundings as she waited for her master to follow. Her time as both a smuggler and a bounty hunter had taught her that there was danger everywhere and this place was no different.

She was eager to get started, this being one of the few things about her new life she was truly looking forward to. She had wielded Ren's lightsaber a few times during their time together, but it never felt quite... right. This one would be different, attuned to her in every way that Ren's wasn't. Ten silenced the disparaging voice in the back of her mind that surfaced whenever she thought of him. He was her greatest mistake, the one that had led her down the dark path she had been on before arriving at the Silver Jedi's doorstep. It was a miracle that she had made it this far without faltering or falling back into old habits.

Matsu dipped down, the force energies flowing from her skin as she was flying from the temple and her ship. They had worked hard to set it up and she was moving through the air. Her hair tied in a top knot while she held her disc-saber on her belt with the main on on her belt. The jedi master touched down at the one side of the temple as she landed and straightened the outfit. The robes were still scratchy but prestine white with the cloths under the robes showing small designs and her saber. The disc-saber blacking from the phrik interlocking duel blades that gave it the design like a zeison shal weapon. "Padawan." She said it with a tight lipped smile glad to see the girl had stayed. It was a good thing and she would be able to try and help her in every way she could."

Tenel turned her head, giving Matsu a slight smile and a nod of acknowledgement. "Master." she said before turning back to look at the caves. She pulled up the hood of her plain white robes with one hand and gripped her crystal-less hilt with the other. "I assume running ahead would be frowned upon." she said with a smirk. She had become much more comfortable with her lot in life in the past few weeks, at least enough to show her true nature every once in a while.

Matsu looked at her and the comment about running ahead gave her a smirk on her face. "Well you could, you could rush ahead and possibly hurt yourself. Or be patient and use the force, think, plot ahead as you move forward and find the crystal that resonates for you. Any crystal will work but one that is bonded to you. I'd recommend the second as it can really be more beneficial, if you remain and stay at this I will one day take you to Rhen Var and find you a solari crystal. A symbol for a jedi who has followed the path of the lightside."

"Maybe a little of both then." Tenel chuckled. She didn't respond to Matsu's offer, fearing the idea of committing to staying for that long. She was a wanderer at heart and even though this place had been good to her, she wasn't sure she wanted to give that up just yet. She closed her eyes, centering herself before walking into the caves. "What should I be looking for?" she asked Matsu.

Matsu was walking with her, her hands clasped behind her back and holding a tight lipped smirk back. The small muscle twitches revealing it was there for a moment before she spoke. "You are looking for what calls to you, it is different for everyone but the sense of it being yours is always the same. Like hold an extension of your body." Matsu continued to walk forward while she was looking at the crystals and breathed in the scent of the caves. A small measure of kindness for herself as she had the blade she had assembled with Iella and was letting the padawan go through the cave until she found her crystal.

Tenel wandered, looking around at the cave around her in awe. She had traveled to many different worlds and had seen wonders beyond what she could ever have imagined otherwise, but this took the cake. The glowing of the different crystals, all pulsing with energy as she passed by them. Eventually, she felt a slight pull to the right of her, as if she were being drawn towards something. Tenel broke out into a sprint, racing towards what she could only imagine was her crystal. She eventually found herself standing in front of a small deposit of violet-hued crystals, sure without a doubt that they were what she was looking for.

Matsu remained there, still for the moment as she allowed the padawan to go and find her crystal with her senses going around them.She was looking out to keep the girl protected while she was finally moving. Letting her movements be guided towards the source of energy pulsing in her head. She followed it along her own path and stood there looking at the crystal vain growing in the wall. Slowly the jedi master let her energy out while she was keeping track of the padawan and grasped her own crystal while she brought it up to the light and looked through it. Down into the core of the crystal that shimmered blue and pale. Something she could give to her daughters who wanted a pale blue crystal.

Tenel knelt down and carefully carved out a piece of the violet crystal. "Matsu!" she called out, not wanting to have to wander around the caves looking for her. While she waited, she took out the hilt that she had brought with her. She sat down and began to meditate on the crystal to make sure that it was definitely the one for her.

Matsu stood there as she heard the voice and was broken out of the trace for a moment as she held the crystal in her hand. She was looking at it as she slid it into her pocket and was moving towards the sound of the padawan's voice. Her senses watching her in the force while she came close and was listening to the force. This had been considered a dangerous time and that was why padawans needed an escort and for a brief moment she thought it was going to be easy until she felt it. That wash of danger and darkness in the back of her head that made her turn towards the entrance as something smashed itno the ice and it was coming down. Matsu moved taking off at a run as she brought her hands out to shift the ice to protect them while she made a wall and looked at the padawan. "Well I guess the warning something dangerous is here wasn't exaggerated. We'll get out the back way but use this time padawan to focus on the force and yourself."

Tenel could sense the impending darkness as well. She nodded at Matsu's instruction and ran off in the direction of the back exit, not too eager to stick around and watch what was going to happen next. She allowed the Force to guide her out of the caves, dodging any potential pitfalls along the way.

Matsu paused only long enough to make sure there was some space between her and the padawan, the girl was her charge and protecting her was more important then trying to keep pace with her and risk the danger as she felt something coming at them. "Keep going." She pushed the force through her limbs as she was moving and touched her disc saber as she threw it in front of them with the blades activating as it split into two spinning blades that slashed into icicles above the entrance as they dropped when they passed it. Matsu caught her blades as they snapped back together and were guided into her hand before she was looking there and a large reptile was appearing. Molted skin as she looked at the creature and it roared. "A leviathan." She was looking at the padawan and the icicle fell on its head slashing its eye as she spoke. "Keep moving." Matsu was looking up the mountain peak as she motioned to it. "We'll lose it in the mountains."
