Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
With the betrayal of Connor Harrison the once Harbringer of the Silver Shadows and subsequent attack from him his padawan. The Silver Shadows were broken and brought back. Thanks to the ideas of Son-Jan about a way to preserve the good parts of the Silver Shadows but also allow them to go from what the shadows became a corrupted form much like the ancinet Covenant Shadows. His proposal was the Silver Intelligence Service.
The Silver Intelligence Service is a semi publicly acknowledged organization responsible for organizing, training, equipping, and overseeing the espionage, counter-espionage, and covert information gathering on behalf of the worlds of the Silver Jedi. Employing force users of the sentinel variety along with non force users such as slicers and agents. Serving as information gatherers for the planetary governments and assembly of the Silver Jedi.
The Operations Division:
The biggest changes to the Silver Intelligence Services is the Shadows are no longer an amalgamation of serve subclasses of the Sentinels. The Jedi Shadow come as specialized sentinels who serve along with their standard duties as jedi. With no harbringer to claim leadership it allows them to return to the leadership and guidance of the council. THis is to prevent the echo chamber from a group of jedi who are largely black and white in their views on the force.
Serving as a clean up group sent out to gather information, seek out and stop influences of the darkside. As they are called in as highly trained sentinels the jedi who serve preform other duties. Working as normal Jedi investigator's, Jedi Watchman and Jedi Temple Guard's a position that has been removed from ther purview of the Shadows. Given its new position and return to the old, shadows are not some secret club house within the temple requiring you to give up everything.
They serve after battles and to gather all information before preforming their duties to the jedi. Allowing another part and jedi to see and give them guidance as their strict views of the lightside and darkside compared to others leaves little else and their views of fellow jedi can fall into this danger zone. The other key parts of the operative and active service division within the Silver Intelligence Service involves the Investigators who work to solve crimes and infiltrate in lieu of the shadows being sent in.
The non force users who are trained as ranger's and operatives with skills in spycraft, investigation, understanding other groups across the galaxy, how to blend into situations, how to use mundane equipment to solve problems. Designs of ships and vehicles that will give them all of the information to better handle a situation or how to spot and handle infiltrators of their own from different governments.
The Logistical Division:
The Logistical division of the Silver Intelligence Service is the inclusion and work that has been going into it. The Technical division of the jedi who create equipment, repair equipment and make sure all of the jedi have what they want and what they need. The head of the division is the quartermaster a position able to be given to either a force user or a non force user. Their work and idea is to get new innovations for the operatives and jedi as a whole. The Logistics included intelligence analysts, laboratory scientists, slicers, and engineers.Looking over the information that is recovered and given a chance, pouring countless hours into refining and methods, overseeing how the training and continued works of the jedi, of the Silver Intelligence Service are implemented. Their technical know how compared to many of the others in the galaxy is what they work on to be second to none and being that a number of the sentinels who work in the tech division understand the needs of their brothers and sisters, or the more technical minded Antarian Ranger's to help each other.
What can become the most basic of training does allow those who wish to come and at least be tested. The newest requirements seen by the S.I.S. is that you be trained as a sentinel. Older Shadows like San-Jan, Syn who avoided the Silver Shadows like Coci or Arisa now have a common ground to join and work together towards a brighter future with the older masters teaching a new generation and working to erase the stain that had come over them.
