TECHNICAL INFORMATION
  • Classification: N/A; demon-possessed construct.
  • Weight: Very Heavy
  • Height: Average
  • Movement: Bipedal (Standard)
  • Armaments: N/A; often carry Force-imbued blades or cortosis-weave vibroweapons.
  • Misc. Equipment: N/A; makes use of the equivalent of Force Sight.
  • Resistances:
    • Energy Weapons: Very High
    • Kinetic Weapons: Very High
    • Lightsabers: Low
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Silent Knights are forged to resemble armoured figures out of myth, often the warriors of the Ancient or modern Sith or the knights or equivalent of various alien cultures (often the species of the commissioner or one they admire). While the alchemical alloys used in their creation are resilient, they are of a lower quality than more unique pieces and can thus be easily cut through by lightsabers and the like.
    • Once the chassis is complete, an obsidian core is placed within its head or torso; a minor Netherworld spirit is then summoned from Chaos and bound therein. So long as the bindings hold (Force Light, Sith Magic, and heavy damage to its body can all unravel it) and the core remains intact, these constructs will continue to fulfill their orders in accordance with their "programming".
    • The process favours weak, semi-sentient demons over more powerful creatures such as Smoke Demons; once bound they are "programmed" in a manner resembling droids, a process which usually teaches tactics, skill at arms, and blind obedience*.
      • *LOTS-affiliated Silent Knights usually obey the sacred rules of the Kaggath over their Sith masters.
STRENGTHS
  • Murderous Mastery: As befits their demon-possessed nature, Silent Knights are ferocious warriors, supernaturally strong, strangely dexterous, and "programmed" to expertly wield all manner of melee weapons, most prominently razor-sharp swords.
  • Harrowing Fiends: Silent Knights are merciless, highly resilient, and imbued with the ability to drive fear into the weak-willed.
WEAKNESSES
  • By Darkness Bound: Created and fuelled by the Dark Side, Silent Knights are vulnerable to Force Light, Magic, and Force disruption.
  • Weight of Numbers: Silent Knights are unlikely to stand their ground against trained Jedi/Sith except through weight of numbers.
  • Restrictive Binding: Subject to restrictive sorcerous bindings to prevent betrayal, Silent Knights always obey orders literally.
  • Dense Momentum: Forged entirely from hefty alchemical alloys, Silent Knights struggle to abort movements/attacks.
DESCRIPTION
Within the Lords of the Sith, strength rules supreme and none can claim safety in authority; frustrated by the duplicitous and self-serving nature of his Knights and Ronin, a nameless High Lord journeyed to the Umbral Bazaar in search of unusual assistance.

What exactly the agreement struck between that Sith and the
Shadows of Greystone entailed is known only to them, but he left with a force of fanatically loyal constructs and the recipe to create more; unknown to him, however, emissaries of the Worm Emperor had beaten him to the punch, striking a bargain that superseded that of the High Lord by virtue of coming first.

Believing all was well, the High Lord felt secure in his power even as his subordinates conspired against him; when finally the challenge for single combat came, he simply smiled, ordered his new Knights to attack... and was shocked to find them lowering their blades and standing down.

Within the Lords of the Sith, strength rules supreme and none can claim safety in authority, not from the Kaggath.

Nothing as exciting as Phrik, no; I took inspiration from Sith Swords, which involves "transmuting base metals into an alchemical alloy possessing an unusual affinity for dark side energies", though obviously the Silent Knights lack the other, more powerful, features of those weapons.

It's mostly flavour, really - strength-wise I'd equate it to unusually heavy Beskar, except not lightsaber-resistant. The alloys used in high-tier items like Sith Swords do seem to be lightsaber-resistant, but this one obviously isn't. ICly I assume it's because they skimped on "rare metallic compounds."

I went and linked to the Sith Alchemy article since that's what Sith Swords do. Really, the Alchemy is the exciting part, not the metals used.
