- High Mental Resistance: Fashioned like the amulets crafted by the Dark Harvesters, the mental protection is second to them as it lacks the power to stand up to a phobis device on its own and when in proximity to the amulets reacts differently siphoning energy into the wearer of the master amulet
Note: When used with the empathy capabilities, the mental shielding is lowered allowing mass fear and strong mental attacks to get through
[*]High Force Resistance: Crafted into the sigil, the enhanced force connection and ease that is used to use the force for lightsiders allows using techniques such as force of will a focused shielding technique semi easier. You still need to have the skill to do it but the strain is lessened
[*]Increase in stamina and force connection when worn: With the crystals that have been used on the construction of it, wearing the amulet and having it benefits the one jed who has it. The range is on self and can't be extended to another person
[*]Lambent Communication:The vong crystal that has gone into the construction of it reacts differently, allowing it to be used as a secondary communications device compared to different things and doesn't require trying tonpierce mental shields
Weaknesses:
- Taking the necklace off is sapping: While able to empower, removing the necklace removes the ease of which one can feel the force itself. Making it for a time afterward difficult to handle large amounts as you exert more energy
- Interacts with the amulet of Amulet of Tal'ra'kaar the same way as the Amulets of Tal'ra: When in the presence of the two other amulets it reacts to them, being drained and feeding into the holder of the amulet
- Burns Darksiders: Unlike the other two amulets its design was based off of, the Sigil of Hope burns painfully when touched by darksiders
- Empathy can overwhelm and debilitate the wearer: Force empathy can flood the mind of a jedi with more emotions from all fo those around them. Without training in how to deal with them it can be debilitating
- Mental Shields when worn: As a benefit it is also a detriment, the mental shields prevent others from using techniques such as battle meditation with the ones who are wearing the sigil
- Exceedingly Rare: While Matsu and Sasori have been able to really work at it and get the sigil for any jedi who serves the lightside it isn't something given out to everyone. It can be difficult to find outside of sasori and parts of the jedi order
- Lightside Beacon: Fueled and empowered by the lightside, it is next to impossible to sneak around or hide your presence in the force while wearing the sigil
- Requires Force Connection: The force is needed to empower the sigil so in a dampening field from the silent glaive or voidstone/steel, with vong or on myrkr the sigil can become just a piece of jewelry
When the battle of Elrood concluded something happened, the Harvestors plans were enacted and so the message proclaiming "Je'daii" was left unattended until the final battle above Dagobah. Then slowly as the Army of Light tried to regain its footing to fight the sith only a few researchers paid it heed tracking to an unknown world in the deep core. There they found the ruins of an ancient Je'daii ship, inside it was a star map that showed several locations around the galaxy and none of them were Tython the homeworld of the ancient Je'daii.
That raised more questions then it answered as the order set off working their way towards investigation quietly the different worlds. They met some challenges, dealt with the Templars on Ryloth, faced down the dangerous Velok on Ossus, Negotiated with the powerfulSiobhan Kerrigan and suave Ayden Cater on Corellia, fought the Gorax on Iridonia, faced the perils of the Witches of Dathomir, braved the shadowlands of Kashyyyk with the Supreme Chancellor Aleidis Ijet and continued to learn the mysteries of the ancient ruins withJe'daii.
The investigations led them deep into the long forgotten histories and regions of the worlds. The perils were great and in the end little information was gleamed beyond pieces of data from ancient datacrons. The notable precursors to holocrons, with it the jedi copied the information leaving for the ones who desired it the prize and gathered. They made way from the deep core into a vertical hyperspace jump pushing them above the galactic plane enough that they found it. A station, still functioning and lost from the days of the ancient Republic. Going inside they found more evidence of the Black Guard and Harvestors.
The station was a sister of the Prism and had been used by someone with lots of hair, that wasn't what was important. The few notes that were around detailing his alchemical work for the dangerous men. Small bits of data on the amulets he had forged on Mustafar in the forge with some supplies left over. Jedi Master Matsu Ike stayed aboard the station as it was pulled towards the deep core and home. While she was there the droids began to work on restoring the prison to full functionality, she worked to replicate his notes work without the dark taint. The neuranium cores that seemed to be alchemically enhanced were unable to be recreated but the rest she found could be. Using pontite crystals the primary purpose of the amulet was recreated albeit in a lesser extent.
The amulet was fashioned different then the ones of Amulet of Tal'ra'kaar or the Amulets of Tal'ra, it became a Sigil of Hope as she saw it. Something the jedi could wear to protect against the dark influence but there was a cost. Since it wasn't created with the powerful alchemical processes of bending and beating nature, science into what you wanted. The mental resistance of it is higher and the stronger the force user wearing it and better it can be. The crystal made feeling ones connection to the force stronger and instilled a sense of calmness within the wearer making their stamina in the force last a little more.
Not infinite amounts of energy but just enough so they didn't fully tire. Removing the necklace seemed to almost drain the wearer for a time making them feel weaker until they put it back on or rested. The amulets also seemed to react much as their counterparts with the amulet of Tal'ra'kaar making it glow as the jedi Master Synlidwirh showed. Its presence causing the core of that amulet to glow and slowly drain on a barely noticed level. Its mental resilience becoming a part of the other amulet and in the presence of several stacking upon it. This works adversely for mental boost like battle meditation or projected emotions but can allow some wearers to communicate with each other when the bond is strong enough between them.
Slowly over time Matsu worked on improving the crystals, getting more in her travels and journeys as well as harvesting or learnign how to work with force techniques and equipment. A holocron from Rave and her own workings with the Jal Shey brought to her attention the multitudes of skills she could do enhancing and enchanting the necklaces with stronger mental defenses and calming from the crystals.
From Rhen Var with Iella she was able to find and gather Solari crystals to make the sigils work more with the jedi and the lightside. She didn't want those who might abuse the powers of them to be able to use them if they found or got them. Slowly as Matsu worked she found the lambent crystals and with them the ability to sense the vong and communicate between the sigils making a direct mental link like a hive between all of them.
With the improved sigils the jedi master sought more to it, to really work with them and make something powerful the jedi could have for protection given the climate. So she continued her research and work into the sigils to further enhance and construct within them the basic abilities of a jedi. Enlightenment, serenity and harmony states of being that could bathe the wearer within the lightside of the force enhancing lightside force abilities.
It was not an easy feat but as she was getting stronger in the force the jedi master was also getting more and more the understanding that came with age and wisdom. She could do far more to the sigils and she could find ways to make them powerful as well as not become something that consumed others. The effects they seemed to have with the master amulet were still there granting the wearer the ability to drain and empower themselves.
She was only thankful that the amulet was held by another jedi master who protected it and the secrets it had to the necklaces. The other amulet her former padawan Joshua had found which granted the real danger of it. She could study with him and see the mental fortitude as well as enhancement of abilities. Slowly working to make it so force techniques were naturally enhanced such as inspiring those around them and enhancing speed.
Other things like perception and reflexes were easier, the protection with the force against the darkside could be done with sheer force of will as well as inner harmony and serenity. The best funsction she could find and use was how natural force armor to protect from energy and blades could work. The padawan techniques to protect yourself being enhanced to their strongest while the jedi master poured more and more force energy into them.
As the sigils began to see some more use they were worked on and employed. A way for jedi to resist some of the major effects of the darkside and protect themselves was well important and Matsu didn't want to see it go to waste while she was working on some of the things. Notably she didn't want to lose some of the momentum they had building the things up as more crystals were found and added improving the force effects within them.
The more Matsu worked on the crystal the more she found ways to improve it from the crystal weave allowing better saturation of lightside force energy to the collection within infused with as much of the lightside of the force as she could manage. Slowly it became more a symbol of the lightside allowing her to generate force energy like the eye of the sun and be something that would react dangerously to darksiders. The lightside of the force burning when near them to alert the wearer and it would not functin for them.
The mental shielding of the original crystal was also there, stronger then ever as it calmed and soothed the one wearing it allowing them to maintain a cleansed mind while under stress. More then that with her former pdawans amulet created by Velok able to be studied while he wore it she was able to augment it, the sigil grants a very high level of resistance to mental attacks, the biggest danger to getting through and past it is a phobis device as it is the penultimate mental weapon.
The continued infusion of the lightside of the force fed int the crystal allowing it to resonate into force techniques to grant harmony and serenity to the ones wearing it. Slowly infusing their will power into a force shield that could wrap around their body and nullify when they focused attacks within the force coming at them if they had been trained in the skill and how to created the force of will barrier. Their empathy to the pain of the galaxy is also increased as they can feel the hurt and possibly become overwhelmed by it.
