The Sif Shipping Corporation, formerly the Mynock Delivery Company, is a simple shipping service that operated within the galaxy.
The Company itself is not widespread, and has no plans for galactic domination or anything of the sort. The Corporation works mostly on the concept of pick up and delivery, a simple ideal that other businesses can use to out contract their own shipping. Sif Shipping Corporation took on many aspects of the Mynock Delivery Company, and in fact is the exact same corporation save for a few small changes within the companies overarching structure and expansion of fleet. The Sif Shipping Corporation, as it is now known primarily services the needs of Vanir Technologies.
This was, of course, planned initially when Vanir Technologies bought out the Mynock Delivery Company.
The corporation was making a push for self containment and required a way to move about its ship parts as well as many other modules. Of course the easiest way to accomplish this was the purchase of a shipping company. The Mynock Delivery Company was eventually chosen and wholly purchased by Vanir Technologies. The companies fleet was immediately upgraded and expanded, many hundreds of bulk, escort, and medium freighters being added to the Corporations already sizable fleet. This additional fleet capacity allowed the Sif Shipping Corporation to cater more to its parents companies needs, taking over the bulk of shipping, delivery, and even transportation for Vanir Technologies.
Despite this, the Sif Shipping Corporation still handles outside contract work, and even special deliveries. Sif aims to become one of the prime method by which people acquire their goods, utilizing an fast fleet and massive intergalactic reach to deliver all sorts of goods to all sorts of people.

Rationale:
The Sif Shipping Corporation, as mentioned above, was only a few days ago dubbed the Mynock Delivery Company.
This company, though mildly successful and large enough to garner some notoriety, was neither famed nor overly large. With Vanir Technologies seeking a way to deliver their own products, and with the company quickly looking outwards, executives quickly stumbled upon the Mynock Delivery. Vanir Technologies quickly began looking into the company, finding out about its practices, its main clients, where it delivered, and what its employee standards were like. This process took only a matter of days, and through the use of private investigators the Mynock Delivery Company quickly revealed every secret that it had to offer.
After the Audit came to light, and the only problem found was an unusual number of high cost missions from a single employee, Vanir Technologies quickly went ahead with the purchasing of Mynock Delivery.
The Sale was quick, Mynock being a private company owned by two Brothers.
Vanir Technologies offered them more money than either could deny and the Mynock Delivery Company was quickly reorganized and re-branded as the Sif Shipping Corporation. The Corporation is almost exactly identical, save Vanir Technologies quickly began to pump funds and effort into the corporations expansion, and within a weeks time of the companies purchase Sif Shipping Corporation was running at full throttle and quickly beginning its expansion.
