  • GENERAL INFORMATION

Voice of the Royal Houses of Naboo, Ambassador of Naboo to the Mandalorian Empire

Sibylla hails from House Abrantes, a prestigious noble family based in Dee'ja Peak on Naboo. Their ancestral estate, perched high in the Gallo mountain range, overlooks waterfalls and ancient groves, a symbol of their deep-rooted connection to Naboo's natural beauty. Renowned for political influence, military excellence, and economic prosperity, House Abrantes maintains vineyards, plasma refinery interests, and extends its reach to Enarc, where Patriarch Alistair Abrantes works to stabilize politics and preserve Royal Republic influence.

Sibylla demonstrates her commitment to humanitarian efforts by assisting in relief operations following a crisis, and her actions reflect the values instilled by her family and her dedication to the well-being of others, with a pragmatic approach. Her family had taught her that leadership wasn't about control. It was about care. About standing up when others hesitated. About carrying the weight, even when it was heavy.

As the Voice of the Royal Houses and Ambassador to the Mandalorian Empire, Sibylla now stands at the center of Nabooan and Republic politics. Her ambassadorship allowed her to flourish under the guidance of Mand'alor Aether Verd, building confidence in her diplomatic skill and adaptability. This role also led to new friendships, including a growing bond with Acier Moonbound, brother of Mand'alor the Iron, with whom she corresponds regularly. These connections broadened her perspective and strengthened her ability to act decisively on Naboo's behalf.

Behind the polished exterior, Sibylla still struggles to balance the weight of duty with personal longing. The loss of Lysander von Ascania left her grappling with grief for her first true friend and heartbreak, while her partnership with King Aurelian Veruna has grown from rivalry into trust and an unspoken spark that unsettles her in the wake of loss. Admired as a figure of consequence, she remains defined by contradictions: eloquent yet guarded, compassionate yet proud, selfless yet uncertain of her own heart.

  • HISTORY

    Early Life

Born the second child of Lord Alistair and Lady Callista Abrantes of Dee'ja Peak, Sibylla Ynez Abrantes was raised in the grand Abrantes Estate overlooking Naboo's waterfalls and vineyards. From an early age, she was groomed for politics, not childhood. Tutors, formal assemblies, and lessons in diplomacy left little room for rebellion or carefree mistakes. Where her elder brother Cassian was trained for command in the Security Forces, Sibylla was prepared to inherit her family's political legacy.

She grew into a poised, articulate young woman, admired for her grace and intelligence but privately weighed down by impossible expectations. The Daughter of Abrantes became a symbol before she was allowed to be herself.

    Diplomatic Expansion and Refugee Advocacy

Beyond Naboo, Sibylla took on greater responsibilities as Ambassador to the Mandalorian Empire. On Roon and Enarc, she worked to stabilize politics and trade, negotiating agreements that tied Naboo to the greater Republic while respecting Mandalorian sovereignty. She developed cultural fluency, learning to honor traditions beyond her own and forging ties with figures such as Aether Verd and Acier Moonbound.

Her compassion extended to the displaced. Sibylla became a leading voice in the Select Committee on Refugees, organizing charity efforts like the Silent auction on New Cov. Her empathy is not naive; she wields it strategically, blending diplomacy with humanity to give the Republic moral ground in a galaxy fractured by war.

The Naboo Campaign and Royal Assembly

When the throne of Naboo stood contested, Sibylla entered the political arena as a candidate for Sovereign. Though young, she quickly proved herself a capable voice, able to sway chambers with eloquence. Her campaign intertwined her duty to Naboo with her compassion for the galaxy's displaced peoples, earning her both allies and rivals among the Houses.

During this period, she endured assassination attempts, including one revealed later to have been ordered by King Aurelian Veruna's own father. Sibylla survived not only through luck and loyal protection but through her unyielding ability to remain composed under fire.

Though she did not take the crown, her speeches and presence earned her an enduring place in Naboo's political heart. She was soon appointed Voice of the Royal Houses, a position that placed her between monarch and Assembly, a bridge between noble power and the Republic.

    Partnership with Aurelian Veruna

Sibylla first saw Aurelian Veruna as the indulgent heir of House Veruna -- the Promised Prince of Parrlay, a dangerously charming schemer who thrived on rhetoric and spectacle. Yet over time, she came to see beyond the polish. His sharp criticism of the Confederacy and decisive dealings with the Mandalorians revealed a man as passionate about Naboo's fate as she was, unafraid to act when others hesitated.

Their turning point came during Foundation Day, when Aurelian's honesty stripped away illusion. He confessed his father's order for her assassination and his belief that Naboo needed someone willing to bear the burden of its survival. Instead of recoiling, Sibylla chose to believe in him, offering to serve as his Voice of temperance and conscience. Since then, their alliance has grown into a steadfast friendship -- one built on mutual trust, respect, and the understanding that neither can stand without the other.

Their partnership became one of the most pivotal dynamics in Naboo's modern history, managing to transcend centuries of the Veruna and Abrantes Royal House Feud. Together, they prepared Naboo for the storms of galactic upheaval while navigating the personal complexities of trust, intimacy, and political ambition.

    The Coronation and Aftermath

At Queen Kalantha's ascension to High Chancellor, Sibylla stood among the Houses, watching the monarchy shift beneath her. During the coronation galas and political maneuverings, she confronted personal ghosts. Lysander von Ascania's departure from her life left her raw, her grief visible only in stolen moments of music at the pianoforte or in private conversations with those who shared her loss, like Lady Corazona von Ascania.

Despite the ache of absence, Sibylla pressed forward. Her duties as Voice demanded it, throwing herself into her duties to keep her busy amidst the turmoil of the battles between Black Sun Syndicate and looming wars with the Sith and the Empire's Stardust project.

    The Present

Now, Sibylla stands at the nexus of Nabooan and Republic politics. She has grown from a polished noble daughter into a figure of consequence, one who is eloquent, steady, compassionate, and unyielding when the cause demands.

Yet beneath the crown jewels and assembly speeches, she remains a young woman learning how to balance duty with desire, grief with growth, and pride with vulnerability. Her strengths as a diplomat and stateswoman are undeniable. Still, her flaws are equally present: self-sacrifice that borders on martyrdom, pride that keeps her isolated, and an unease with intimacy that leaves her yearning for connection while fearing it in equal measure.

Naboo, the Republic, and even her own heart are at turning points. And Sibylla stands at the center, no longer just her family's heir, but her people's voice.

  • APPEARANCE
Sibylla exudes the refined elegance of Naboo's high society, with an unmistakable flair for dramatic style. At a glance, she was the embodiment of House Abrantes noble line: high cheekbones, full lips, and hazel eyes that shimmered between green and gold depending on the light or her mood. Her skin was a warm ivory touched with rose, a natural canvas for the bold, jewel-toned robes she favored in fiery oranges, rich purples, deep greens that whispered of power and pride to her House.

Her hair is a cascade of dark chestnut that is almost always styled with care, either in braids, twists, or elegant updos, but it is her headdresses that turn heads. Silver filigree, Nabooan gemstones, blossoms threaded with meaning and memory. Each piece told a story: of her House, her heritage, and the future she was building with every careful, deliberate choice. A signet ring bearing the crest of House Abrantes rests prominently on her right hand, a symbol of both her noble lineage and her political responsibilities.

Sibylla carried the grace of House Abrantes, one of the Great Royal Houses, but she added her own spark. There was a kind of electric energy to her, refined, yes, but never dull.

  • PERSONALITY
Raised among Naboo's elite, Sibylla embodies grace and diplomacy, but beneath her well-spoken veneer lies a spine forged of conviction and quick wit. She speaks with precision, listens with intent, and rarely suffers fools; at least not without a cleverly barbed remark hidden beneath layers of decorum.

Fiercely principled and intellectually curious, Sibylla values merit as much as lineage and holds a lawful good pragmatic stance that sets her apart in Naboo's tradition-steeped court. Her sense of justice is sharp, but tempered by empathy; she's compassionate, but never naive. When challenged, she wields both insight and irony like a pair of gloves, proper, fitting, and disarmingly pointed.

She delights in the arts, especially Nabooan poetry and planetary history, and often quotes both to give her arguments unexpected weight. In private, Sibylla enjoys moments of quiet relaxation, often retreating to her piano where she dresses simply but still with an elegance that speaks to her inner complexity.

  • NOTABLE SKILLS
    STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES

    Strengths
    • Political Acumen - Sibylla has grown into one of Naboo's sharpest political minds. Trained from her father and tested in the Assembly, she navigates power with poise and precision. She recognizes when to push, when to yield, and when to let silence speak for her. Where others see politics as theater, she sees it as a battlefield where the weapons are words and timing.
    • Poise Under Pressure -From assassination attempts to debates that shape the Republic, Sibylla keeps her bearing. Her ability to remain calm under fire -- literal or figurative -- gives others confidence. Even in moments of personal heartbreak, she does her best to present a polished exterior expected of her House and office.
    • Oratory and Charisma - Her voice has become one of her greatest weapons. Sibylla can address thousands in soaring speeches or move a single person in quiet conversation. Whether appealing to Mandalorians, Senators, or displaced refugees, she knows how to thread words into conviction.
    • Elegance and Presence - Beyond appearance, her demeanor has hardened into something commanding yet graceful. She leads not only by argument but by example -- walking into a room with the kind of presence that makes people listen before she speaks.
    • Loyalty and Duty - House Abrantes and Naboo are etched into her bones. Sibylla has sacrificed personal happiness for service, choosing time and again to put the needs of her people before her own. Her loyalty is a shield, both to her family and to the ideals she believes Naboo should represent.
    • Strategic Compassion - Her empathy is genuine, but sharpened by political instinct. She knows how to wield kindness in ways that build trust and open doors. She listens when others do not, and because of that, she often learns truths hidden beneath formality.
    • Cultural Sensitivity - Her experiences as Ambassador to the Mandalorian Empire, her work with refugees, and her curiosity for tradition outside Naboo have given her the ability to bridge worlds. She adapts quickly, respecting what makes other people distinct rather than forcing them into Naboo's mold.
    • Emotional Intelligence - Sibylla reads people like texts, catching subtle cues others overlook. A sidelong glance, a pause too long, a shift in tone she collects it all. This sensitivity allows her to anticipate, react, and often diffuse before conflict sharpens.

    Flaws
    • Impossible Standards - She measures herself against perfection. Every word, every action must hold weight, and when she falters she punishes herself more than any critic could. The pressure often leaves her brittle, unable to admit she is still young and learning.
    • Raised as a Symbol, Not a Child - The Daughter of Abrantes was groomed to represent her family before she was allowed to be herself. She missed the ordinary milestones of youth, and while she carries maturity far beyond her years, she often feels hollow where that carefree adolescence should have been.
    • Guarded Emotions - Sibylla's eloquence fades when it comes to her own heart. She can debate the Republic's future but struggles to admit her own fears or needs. Vulnerability still feels dangerous -- an opening for betrayal or pity she cannot stomach.
    • Struggles with Intimacy - Personal closeness unsettles her. Every relationship carries the shadow of politics, and every gesture of affection feels tied to consequence. Even with those she loves deeply, she hesitates to trust fully that they see her and not the Daughter of House Abrantes.
    • Manipulative When Pressed - Though she dislikes cruelty, Sibylla is not above bending the truth, omitting details, or steering conversations if it means survival or protecting Naboo. She has learned that diplomacy is power, and power sometimes demands coercion.
    • Disconnected from Normal Life - She knows how to navigate treaties but not street markets, courtly dances but not unguarded fun. Her peers' stories of rebellion or recklessness are foreign to her. This distance makes her seem older than she is -- and yet untested in the common struggles of youth.
    • Vulnerable Outside the Court - In the halls of power she thrives, but in the underlevels of Denon, among smugglers or in lawless space, she falters. Her instincts were honed in politics, not in the raw, unpredictable chaos of the galaxy's fringes. Her elegance becomes liability when guile and grit are required.

Lord Alistair Veldrin Abrantes Father, Ambassador to Enarc Lord Alistair Abrantes is the Patriarch of House Abrantes of Dee'ja Peak.
Lady Callista Nerys Abrantes (née Valcora) Mother Lady Callista Abrantes is the Matriarch of House Abrantes of Dee'ja Peak, formally the Minister of Culture for Naboo.
    Cassian Abrantes Oldest Brother
    Elian Abrantes Youngest Brother
Aurelian Veruna Trusted Ally, Friend, Maybe more?
At first, Sibylla saw Aurelian Veruna as the indulgent heir of House Veruna, the Promised Prince of Parrlay, a dangerously charming statesman who seemed to value spectacle over substance. Yet beneath the polish, she came to see a man as passionate about Naboo's fate as she was, bold enough to speak and act when others would not.

Their turning point came during Foundation Day, when Aurelian revealed the truth of his father's role in her attempted assassination and his belief that Naboo required a monster to guard its peace. Instead of recoiling, Sibylla met his honesty with conviction and chose to believe in both his flaws and his brilliance. She offered to serve as his Voice, the conscience and temperance beside his ambition.

From that day, rivalry gave way to trust. Their alliance grew into a friendship that transcended generations of Veruna-Abrantes enmity. Together, they led Naboo through upheaval, yet as Sibylla watched him grow into the king he has become, admiration deepened into something more, a quiet awareness of what she felt for him as a woman still learning what her own heart was capable of. Though the line between duty and affection blurs, her loyalty to Aurelian endures not out of obligation, but out of belief in the man behind the crown.
Lysander von Ascania Dearly Missed Friend | Ex - Situationship Lysander was the first to teach Sibylla how to be young. The scion of House von Ascania entered her life when she needed something she did not know she was missing, a friend who saw her as more than a symbol.

Lysander's wit, recklessness, and storm of charm contrasted with Sibylla's polished restraint. Where she held herself to impossible standards, he urged her to break from them, even if only for a stolen evening. With him, she found laughter, honesty, and a kind of freedom she had never allowed herself. He became her first true friend, and perhaps her first love, though neither of them dared put such fragile words to it.

Their bond was complicated by politics, by his darker paths, and by the constant scrutiny of the Houses. Circumstances dictated that they could not continue as before. Choices made and pressures mounting pulled them apart, until the time came when Lysander departed from her life.

His absence left Sibylla at a loss, leaving her with the weight of longing for her first friend, her first heartbreak, and the pieces of herself she had only just begun to discover with him. Lysander's departure reminds her of all she never learned to say aloud, and of how fragile the line truly is between duty and desire, politics and love.
