Shoot First, Shoot Later

--Hotel; Crystal City; Taris; Ojoster Sector

Go-Go's trigger fingers were itching something fierce. She was a bundle of nervous energy, checking and re-checking her gear for the umpteenth time. She wouldn't be able to carry everything, but maybe one of her comrades could help her pick? Her eyes flickered to the round window set high in the wall. Beyond the clear glass, Crystal City was a sprawl of dazzling but queer aquamarine buildings that reached up into the stars.

The vast city was separated into three layers: the first was the lower city, little more than a vast slum, home to countless alien species. It was a shavit hole. Then there was the middle city, where she was, a mix of Tarisian, alien, and various humans. It wasn't so poverty stricken as the lower city, but neither was it as opulent as the third layer, the upper city, where the elites of society dwelled.

Go-Go sighed. She had lost count of how many times she had wiped down her .357, or her little shatter gun, to say nothing of her sniper rifles! Changing out the nutrient tank Miri lived in was a pain, too. She'd been here on Taris for two days now, waiting for back-up to arrive before she made a move on her bounty. She hated waiting, but she wasn't fool enough to try to take down a Sith Master by her lonesome, even with her Force Hunter load out. Not without proper meat-shields!

Uh oh. Was Nono slipping through? They're allies, Go-Go, she reminded herself. Fellow Mandalorians. Not meat-shields! She checked her datapad array, the screens tuned to almost every camera in the sector, the displays segmented into six feeds each. Her eyes leapt from screen to screen...

And there he was, in the Upper City, a couple dozen stories higher in the sky. The crowds weren't very thick up there, so while spotting him wasn't hard, it sure wasn't easy either. He was sooooo close...and yet, so far away...

She collected all the info she had on the bounty to present it to the others when they arrived, anticipating the possibility for a little double crossing in the future, should the attempt be successful. With a little subterfuge, she could collect on two]/b] bounties! She hated the Sith, truly she did, but creds were creds, right?

Her comlink blinked. There was one of her comrades now...
