Strengths:
- Heavy Ballistic Coat: This fashionable coat provides the user with qualified combat protection against modern firearms, both energy and ballistic, and from harsh battlefield working conditions. Including water, fire, abrasive dust, shrapnel debris, and light caustic materials. Dense, insulated, and armored. Quick to don, doff, clean, and zero maintenance required.
- Arctic Parka: Thick and heavy even before the Armorweave additions, this garment traps heat like a lava flow. Hot or warm environment wear is not recommended without a supplemental cooling vest, EV underlay, or an environmentally controlled bodyglove. Especially if strenuous activity is required.
DESCRIPTION
Developed at the Advanced Materials Division of the Lianna Academy of Science in 853 ABY, this dramatic fashion represents a modern investment towards hidden battlefield protection technologies. The design was created specifically to accommodate rigorous activity in hazardous terrestrial environments and harsh battlefield conditions. Including maintenance against water, micro-meteor exposure, open flame, and even light chemical abrasion and toxin resistances. Crafted with modern Armorweave techniques and synthetic materials to provide better combat durability ratings too.
When integrated, or worn with, any supplementary Smartglove technologies, these fashions can provide additional resilience in any temperature environment. Please note however that in the case of unexpected spacewalk or dedicated EVA, that these fashions offer no protection against solar-grade radiation and this exposure may even degrade the terrestrial materials considerably. Spacers beware.
These fashions may be returned to any ATC outlet in the case of repairs or damage, and raw materials are expected to be held on-hand and made available for the next ten years.
