OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
  • Manufacturer: Shavara by the guidance of sar-vuns-memory
  • Affiliation: shavara-warksher
  • Model: Shavara's Kestralis
  • Modularity: No
  • Production: Unique
  • Material: Alchemized metal and stone.
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Kestralis is a sort of focuser of the force. It does not increase an individual's power in it, nor does it increase their knowledge, it merely helps an individual to more easily perform minute actions or more difficult tasks that require their attention. It’s design allows a force sensitive the ability to more easily harness their powers, making it a good tool for teaching learners how to do something before they are actually fully skilled enough for it. Unlike many of Sar Vun’s creations, the Kestralis offered him little use. As he was already extremely talented in minute operations, rather the rings were made for those he would teach so that they could perform the complex difficulties of his alchemy.
STRENGTHS
  • Increases a force sensitives focus in their force abilities allowing them to perform tasks that are usually too complex or difficult for their level. Such as someone who was attempting Art of the Small, would find it slightly easier thanks to this. Or attempting to use multiple objects with telekinesis instead of a singular one, or one object but with more complexity in how it was being moved. This only allows an individual to have greater ability to use their existing powers and their existing knowledge, but finding them simpler than they would normally to preform the same action.
  • Helps avoid the inability to use force powers when very exhausted, allowing them to continue to use them even when they’d normally have trouble thinking.
  • Somewhat durable.
  • Unlike Sith Alchemy the ring is fully neutral and harbors no inherent weakness to light or dark side powers.
WEAKNESSES
  • The ring does not increase or weaken an individual's power, it exclusively allows greater focus and skill.
  • The ring cannot replace an individual's knowledge and talent of how to apply the abilities they can use. A padawan taking one of these rings won’t become a master.
  • Individuals who are already very good at minute actions would probably find the rings pointless.
  • Though fairly durable. The ring could be broken by many modern weapons very easily, lightsabers and blasters would easily destroy the ring.
DESCRIPTION
Kestralis rings are uncommon because most have been broken. Some have recreated types of rings due to their use for learning force users, but most master Vo Ni’s have little use for them or have no reason to spend the time trying to make or find one. They were one of the creations of Sar Vun to help his students learn. And one of the first things that Shavara learned from Sar Vun’s Memory. Shavara’s Kestralis ring is no more complex than the ones before it, but was made because Shavara tends to lack the minute skills and focus that most Vo Ni practice even though she has the raw power. The ring helps Shavara with a lot of her abilities to use them more quickly or perform them with more complexity, especially in regards to telekinesis and teleportation which can be greatly improved upon, though are not perfected by use of the ring alone. The ring cannot strengthen her, and could certainly be broken during combat immediately causing her to slip back into relying on her own ability to focus. Eventually the use of the ring helps one to better use their force powers as they feel what it’s like to use them with greater skill and focus, so they can try and repeat the process on their own.

One quick question/added explanation.

Increases a force sensitives focus in their force abilities allowing them to perform tasks that are usually too complex or difficult for their level.
What kinds of force abilities are we talking about here? Something where an apprentice is trying out "Knight rank" powers or abilities that require more focus from the individual?

With how vague it is, this interpretation can be easily exploited. So to protect yourself from having this pulled out for being abused, I recommend expanding upon this.
